Yeh fitness maybe an issue too. Stevenson in the midfield for Camby is a class act albeit carrying a few extra pounds. Anson upfront, who was getting the ex Cumnock banter all day 😉 also looks alot leaner than last season.

Haha yes Anson, had a big smile when we clocked each other. I like players like him, characters, which seem fewer and fewer last few years. Add something to games as much as boils some folks blood. If he gets a bit fitter will cause a lot of problems for other teams in that system, still early doors. In the conditions it’s hard to assess but would argue you’s will surprise any team that go into the game just looking a results. Anyway, good luck, See you’s all at Beechwood ⚽

To win a league you have to win the games your expected to win. We did that yesterday but all that can be taken from the game is we got three points. Pitch was poor but it was the same for both sides. Although they hit the bar Camby need another top class striker as Anson is a brilliant hit man. Great goal from Samson from an acute angle.

First 20 we really seemed to struggle on the tight park, Camby we’re almost entirely in the Talbot half and seemed their goalie was flinging and kicking the ball straight to the final third, causing us no end of problems. We seemed to struggle with our own distribution, finding/making space but what ever was said at half time seemed to resolve it. As much more ourselves in the second.

Was on the deck three times due to poor tackling one was so bad that the Camby boy got a yellow. Good thing about young Ross he doesn't fling himself about screaming or roll about if he's been shot by a sniper when he's brought down. He's straight up, and if its an honest foul its handshakes all round.

Haha aye he was maybe a bit plump last season but seems to have lost some weight this time around and still is a top quality player. Seems a decent enough big guy who has a great understanding of the game and takes the banter well.

Cheers pal, hoping we can get a few more volunteers as the season goes on as is murder doing live updates/making graphics while filming. Aye that’s Ross Taylor, think most the fouls on him are what I call f**k you fouls imo. Tricky and fast as feck, Credit to the officials picking up on them as last thing people would want is players with a bit of flare getting booted out the game. No one wants anyone injured, trickery adds to the value for the attendees and if refs stay on top of it the stoppages, set advantage and cards won’t be worth trying to boot him.

Surely with other teams in the League idle we will be playing one of them in a league game? Dont want fixtures to build up

Won't be a league game
