Talbot would be a lot worse off without Craig McCracken, Neil McPherson and Andy Leishman.

There not the problem it's the left & right backs.

Why aren’t we allowed out opinions. It’s a punt up the pitch to strikers expect them to do something. There boys on the bench that deserve to play that don’t

Serious question…… do you think the guys in charge of the money at the Talbot actually want the club to be first into the LL where the income will be seriously hit by next to no travelling support and also there is a chance they could go straight up into League 2 the following year and then the punters are paying £14 quid a game, will the Talbot fans pay that week in week out?

Talbot don't have to charge £14 in 2 years team if they got to League Two could be around £10 mark. For example Albion Rovers around £12 and £7 for concessions and under 16s £2.

Presumably the promoted side would get their slice of the B team bribe bonanza?

The £40k or whatever it is would offset a lot of the cash lost because LL clubs have nobody watching them.

I don't think many teams would want the added expense that comes with progression. It would surely impact crowds from any teams in the WoSFL if there are longer distances to travel for games and increasing costs with travel, entry etc.

It's a difficult situation as there were only a few teams that seemed seriously keen on the introduction of WoSFL. I think most clubs felt they had no choice but to join it.

I'd imagine there must be some fear amongst clubs at lower end of the WoSFL that they might not have a team in next few years. Some of the smaller teams rely on the income from travelling support that boosts their income.

We have been the big fish for long before Tucker, and that shit used to be uttered when Willie Knox was the manager.

What a sad out look you hope for Talbot decline rather than your team improved oh and BTW look at the money all the "small fish" will loose if Auchinleck are promoted they are the only team that carry a substantial away support.

Was there really much income generated by away fans in West Division 2 of the Juniors ? Possibly in League Cup or Regional Cup ties but you'll still have those to an extent. In terms of actual gate income - 1 or 2 games a season with an extra 200 on the crowd is not going to make the difference. Better finding a local sponsor to chuck in a couple of grand tbh.

As to do teams really want promoted ? It's being at the business end of table that brings out fans to big games. Either Talbot or Darvel will be among 2 or 3 favourites to win LL if they go up. The play off games may be trickier but you'd think SPFL2 would be achieved double quick or you'd have someone else up with same ambition. Finish top of LL or get promoted to SPFL2 you're also in Challenge and League Cups which will make up for any income lost in derbies or bigger WSL games. In a few seasons teams will be thinking why didn't we go earlier. As already said - you don't need to charge a bomb for entry. You can offer cut-price season tickets to reward loyalty and still get more from casual or away fans.
