Monkey Tennis
"I am sorry we did not win this battle but as we all know, it is winning the war that counts". Leaving aside the absurd tub thumping of the language, what is she even referring to here? Is the war meant to be the decision making, leadership and approaches to commercialism that she mentioned earlier? Is she really trying to convince us that these concerns are central to her, and would still have motivated a war effort if Hearts had beaten St Mirren in March? It's patronising shite that any Hearts fan with a brain must surely see right through.
Ludo*1
Far too many people are watching Kickback. I've had a fair bit of enjoyment watching Ad Lib hand out telts to his fellow fans on the Partick Thistle forum. You can choose where to dive in, but here is a good starting point: https://www.wearethistle.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/14049-court-it-is-then/page/86/&tab=comments#comment-357316
TonyFerrino
"For too long, Chairmen and Owners have stood on the sidelines bemoaning the decision-making processes, the perceived lack of leadership, the lack of commercialism; the general shortcomings, as they see it, of Scottish football. However, if they really want things to change, it will take more than words. They will have to stand-up and be counted. We tried to do just that. ..." She's lost it. You tried to save your skin by temporarily extending the size of the top flight by buddying up with Thistle - nothing more, nothing less.

Palpable all the same, but no mentions of winning world wars or shiteing outside Tannadice. Maybe it's an Edinburgh thing.
Ric
You know, I'd take successful businesswoman Ann Budge's words at face value if she hadn't shown scant interest in "righting the wrongs of the system" until now. I don't seem to remember her at the gates of Gorgie, clad in leather and daubed in woad, aboard a virtual chariot, channelling the spirit of Boudica, obdurate for her battles with the powers that be when they were finishing in the top 6 and taking a nice little pay packet from the SPFL for it too. Maybe I missed that. Edited July 27, 2020 by Ric

Just when you've had enough of the braindead raging, you can switch forums and get some glorious smugness which is being received with, 'Aye, well where's your loyalty?! We knew we wouldn't win, leave us be!!!' It's nice to get the tears of kickback and the accepted humiliation of the Jags forum.

Sherrif John Bunnell
Good to see Hearts are back on a war footing after they single-handedly defeated Kaiser Wilhelm and the Austro-Hungarian Empire back in 1918.
