What about Hamilton and Ross County in 11th and 10th rather than the team in 9th six points clear of Hearts.

You're right, it would be Hamilton that Hearts would want relegated instead of themselves. And I'd be fascinated to hear how they would try to justify it.

Partick Thistle Statement claxon.

'Beginning with a demand for a start date from the spfl'.

Eh how about talking to the other teams in your league and getting something sorted out?

The way they have written it sounds like billy big baws pish.

'We are entitled to feel rage about this injustice'

You can tell this statement had words in bold and underlined in the first draft.

Why would the team in 9th get relegated instead of Hearts?

Maroon pound

Bigger crowds than Aberdeen

Top flight needs derbies

Results from 1986

Another spangle apologist in the media - aye, of course we could have "finished the season", but we would have been starting the next one in December after all the matches and playoffs had taken place.

p.s. "carnage" 3 clubs relegated.......................

Most of Europe? Over 50 countries never finished their leagues. Only four are finishing theirs.

Would also have been avoided if Hearts had bothered winning a couple of games.

Or even just their last one by 2 goals...

I don’t see why they can’t reconstruct from the championship downward.  Then no other club will get relegated apart from Hearts.  Which is the real reason we’ve done this anyway, so that’d be funny.

Ah, you've probably not heard it through Levein & English' tears tbf.

I must admit, I am struggling to see on what basis Hearts are appealing. I am following a thread on Twitter from Andrew Tickell (feed here) which seems to suggest they will attempt to get a judicial review, which seems rather unlikely to succeed to me. But as always with the law, if you ask ten lawyers you'll probably get ten different answers.

Apparently Neil McCann is favourite to take over at Hearts, as Stendel has a release clause due to relegation and has decided to walk away.

Outstanding work by Budge.

Every one of which will aim to earn them fees.
