The Belgian clubs did vote to end the league.

I thought they ignored the vote though? Wasn't that the deal or was that the Dutch? As I say, watching Hearts absolutely shit themselves has been the best part.

That was Holland.

It would be foolish to say that this precedent in Belgian law means that any challenge in Scotland would definitely deliver all Hearts want

but at least the whole "you can't sue the league without going through the court of arbitration for sport, Hearts could be chucked out of football altogether" line of argument can now be safely discarded

It means you failed

Yeah, I finished bottom of the class. I took my demotion to the next group down like a good guy, though. None of the endless complaining that you sometimes see.

That’s an SPFL rule... not the CAS. Not that it makes much of a difference anyway as decisions made in Belgian or French courts will have no bearing on decisions made here.

One of the conditions of SPFL membership is that a member club will follow a strict appeals process involving the CAS as the ultimate authority for an appeal. Failure to do so is a breach of membership conditions and quite rightly if Hearts chose to try take legal action through the domestic courts the SPFL would be able to expel them for failing to follow the terms of membership.

Very much still on table then...unlike the prospect of reconstruction.

You missed the option where the court insists St Mirren play their outstanding games with 3 pros, the tea lady and Tony Fitzpatrick shoe-horned into a pair of size 44 shorts
Would still pump hearts

And we would still pump your team of overly paid wasters led by a tactically inept manager!

Hold on a  wee minute, here. Are you suggesting that if the judge reinstates us to the Premier, he'll insist on Levein being reinstated too? Fck that! Get us doon.

I’d say that was only fair! 👌

There is no danger that the SPFL (or any other organisation) can contract out of The Companies Acts. We're not talking about whether a player can appeal a yellow card.

I got a B, lodged an appeal and got it upgraded to an A. It took a while to come through though

Just a pity Hearts are firmly in the equivalent of  No Award territory.:P

I'm past caring what happens now.

Nothing would surprise me.

Although the situation has allowed for construction of the childish coffin gif's which have amused me greatly. Particularly Gary MacKenzie's attempt.
