FWIW hes clearly made that up.

He claims that if this reconstruction vote fails, then any club who doesnt agree to start playing when the season starts on its originally planned date will be instantly expelled from the SPFL.

As if the next two months dont exist and its August tomorrow.

The article just doesnt make any sense to me tbh.

I don’t see how forcing reconstruction through is going to make it any easier for clubs who can’t play behind closed doors?

That is clearly nonsense designed to whip people up. An absolute load of shite.

Its a well thought out article  montyyuk.png.364972ed03fad1d26dc697f2e3462441.png

In summary, the current setup means that due to CV19 clubs will be unable to complete a full season....................but under the proposed setup clubs (some of whom will need to play more games) will be fine and dandy.

Its tinfoil hat stuff from the p***k that said our fans assaulted every single Rangers player.

He is a tangoed w****r.

Well there is a shock. The papers are reporting Doncaster is to tell clubs to vote for reconstruction.

Doncaster can recommend a solution, but the clubs still need to vote for it.

Can you explain to us what - in Budges proposal - makes it better for the 42 teams?

Happy to take your answers on a divisional level.

A 13 team top league is the obvious answer, promote 1 team in from each division & relegate noone. This makes room for one of Kelty or Brora.

Does mean 2 teams getting relegated next season. Also 1 team would be automatically relegated from League 2. Everything else would remain the same.

Maybe use average points for the extra relegation so this season still counts?

Youd still have Falkirk moaning about Raith getting promoted while only one point ahead of them.

Cant have an odd number of teams.Leaves one team not playing on the last day of the season.

Just wont do.

Illogical nonsense from start to finish. The whole point of reconstruction is now supposedly to achieve flexibility, but if a change to divisions of 14-14-14 fails then the SPFL are going to be entirely inflexible and make the season start as scheduled for divisions of 12-10-10-10 even where every club in a division doesn't want to play? There'd be no mechanism for clubs to change that rule in the intervening months before the scheduled start of the season if they aren't in leagues of 14-14-14?

Considering all the criticisms of the SPFL from the media as well as Rangers, Hearts, Inverness, Partick, Falkirk & Stranraer for linking a vote on one issue to another related issue - you had to have the league declared on PPG to get prize money for final positions - how ironic that they're now briefing that if clubs don't back Hearts on this issue, they'll get fucked over on another issue.

The difference being that it was self evident to anyone with a brain that paying out prize money for final positions was dependent on actually having final positions, whereas this is clearly made up drivel.

The Keith Jackson article doesn't really make sense. When the reconstruction vote inevitably fails, surely someone else will propose a resolution to halve the Championship calendar and it'll pass no bother.

I stopped clicking on daily record links years ago but I take it from your post the help from testing players will be taking away if they don't vote for 14-14-14?

How can you reconstruct without final positions?

You don't need to. Since Hearts are in the top tier after a void season, the impetus for reconstruction somehow magically wanes...

Ignoring Jacksons rubbish, I've yet to hear how this reconstruction saves Scottish football. Budge is trying to spread this message but I've yet to see anything tangible.

Other than the short term thinking of Hearts being a bigger club, why should anyone vote for this?

Why is Budge getting a 2nd shot at this? All she has done is wrapped up the box with a different bow on top. It's still the same crap plan to save her crap team.

No chance this will go ahead, nothing has changed in the last 2 weeks.

Apparently Doncaster is warning of the most dire of consequences if reconstruction doesn't happen and he's going to sort out any dissenters.

Does Anne Budge actually have a chance of winning this in court? If Scoops article is correct then the spfl are back in full panic mode.
