South Region Challenge Cup 2020-21

Recommended Posts

East of Scotland starting league on Saturday. If all the games go ahead next three weeks there teams could get the edge in these games:-

Dunbar vs Drumchapel
Lily vs Larkhall
Pollock vs Tranent
Sauchie vs Buffs
Thornton vs Glens

More to do with vaguely remembering from another recent thread what AlanCamelonfan's first Camelon game was, but no matter.

Given Round 2 is scheduled for Nov 21, a January start for WoS could mean SoS/EoS/LL only in the SCC this year, if the other three leagues all start up as appears to be happening.

Noticed Kilwinning are down to play their postponed game away to Sauchie on Wednesday under the lights.

I saw HJ say that in the other thread. I figure they'd rather do that than bump the away game to Gala in the next round to an unknown date.

2-1 Sauchie

Buffs huffed and puffed, loads of possession but not enough clear cut chances. Having attacked for more or less the whole of the second half, to lose to a late counter was tough on the boys. Well done to Sauchie for streaming the game.

Some start for Buffs. Have they lost players or what?

There has been a bit of turnover, but still a hardcore of last seasons squad.

Girvan scratched.

Not sure why Lanark and Lugar did given they've continued in league. Maybe they were swithering when cup's deadline came around as it was earlier. Dunbar also did.
