Summer 2020 transfer thread

Midfielder Jordan Leyden also returns to Dunterlie following a successful period at Rutherglen Glencairn. Jordan spent a season at the club before moving to The Celsius Stadium in the summer of 2017. We are delighted at Jordan's return and look forward to more goals and assists from the middle of the park.

Always thought Wharton was a cracking player. That is a great signing.

He certainly played very well for us last time around. Left to go back senior and sure he was made captain when he went to Albion rovers.

We badly needed options at centre half to play along side Gallagher.

Can be good but is inconsistent

When I seen him play he always goes for the superstar style diagonal ball the full length of the pitch, now and again it came off!!

Also, when at Cambuslang overheard him saying he wouldn't be hanging about if the money was increased and seemed to have some attitude on him!!

We are delighted to announce the signing of experienced centre half Rhys Donaldson from Rutherglen Glencairn. Rhys was the vice captain and won many individual honours at his time at the club. We are delighted to have Rhys onboard.

Rhys is a sweeper, not really a centre half. Soaby is the centre half out of the pairing.

Rhys is a very good player who is also comfortable playing at right back. Whole hearted guy who will be a good addition to the team.

Why are Arthurlie attracting so many players from Glencairn when they are in the division below?

Just because they are in the division below doesn't mean they aren't good enough to play in the league higher....

There were certainly Premier clubs after Leyden and Simeon. The others who have moved from Glencairn have proved that they are good enough at the level they're going to be playing at by winning the WRSJFA Championship in 2018-19.
