Summer 2020 transfer thread

I was thinking exactly the same thing doon the road.

Tough for Ferry coming in and facing an exodus like that. Honestly can’t believe O’Byrne left to play for another club, finishing at Ladeside would have been more appropriate imo. Other clubs have fair hit Ladeside hard enticing guys to leave. Ladeside fans ok with this ? Makes you wonder if players were playing for the club or for the manager.

Wrong, watched a few games over the last few seasons with a workmate playing thats all.

All over the place blaming everyone else.

Good luck though to the 6th manager in 5 seasons.

Especially when you see a current players father posting things on social media about a hard working guy who took the job when no one else wanted it. Poisoned chalice.

My sources through there tell me the away fans at the game at Kilwinning resorted to humour, hardly surprising Walter Mitty and his cohorts were shown the door.

Cheers. I'm a bit out of the loop on the West Juniors/WoS over the last couple of years, were all these guys starting games for Beith? Familiar with Christie and Grindlay to a certain extent.

Joe Bradley hasn't been at the club since December. John Sheridan and Kevin Green were regulars when fit but mostly Ryan Docherty played in centre of defence with one or the other. Jamie Wilson, Darren Christie and Stephen Grindlay all regular starters. Keir Milliken mostly a starter too.

In the previous two seasons or so, Kenny McLean was mostly a substitute (started 11 games two seasons in total) and then three starts this season before Butch came in, he then started all 5 games and scored 7 goals so a regular at the end and looked back to his best.

Players move on and they'll be missed and best of luck to them at their new clubs, they all served us very well.

Sure all will become clear on Monday.

Not true. There were guys interested but not interviewed.

Sheridan's contribution to Beith in recent times had been massive fantastic leader and inspiration. He WILL be missed.

Big Shez undoubtedly has earned legend status at Beith but reality is time catches up with every player. Most players at that kind of level will tend to bow out mid 30’s. He might well manage another season down a level if play is mainly route 1 but he will struggle increasingly to cope with quick forwards who keep the ball on the deck.
Good luck to the big man for the remained of his footie career.

LEE ROULSTON EXTENDS HIS STAY AT DUNTERLIE

Lee has become a key player in the midfield since stepping up from our under 21s in 2018. Lee's game is continuing to develop and we are delighted that we can look forward to his energy and enthusiasm as he has committed to the club for the season ahead

From what I've heard the players that left were not offered new deals by Beith so chose to join up with their old manager.
