Had St Cadocs interested to not really a strange move he is a Bishopbriggs boy and will play and Rossvale are a match for anybody on there day and can see them having a better season than Ladeside unless players are coming in who know the league and not academy players that don't

The reason i said strange move is a rated him he's small but great work rate and a danger and thought he'd stay put or maybe move on to a top 3 or 5 team.

All that was assuming the boy didn't want to move for work reasons which is fair enough.

Rossvale have lost all the best players so big question mark if they can finish in top half as even with better players they were struggling to do that this season.

Fair enough if he is a briggs boy .

As for bishopbriggs they have dropped that from social media and will never get a proper home in the town so that ship has sailed.

On ladeside they have the history and a good fan base with potential to create something very exciting.

Sure it's not happened for them yet but they as a club will appeal to many a player.

They will be fine next season especially with very competent experienced management team they have put in place .

David Gormley has been a manager less than two minutes he's no Tommy Sloan or Johnny Miller he's not a Martin Ferry either. Gormley is a  total rookie at management who can only be judged after several seasons managing.

Martin Ferry is a very experienced and respected manager who's well thought of and exactly the type of manager they need make no mistake about it some stability, a manager who can grow things from a solid base and knows what he is doing.

You are from glasgow yet supported kilbirnie since the 80s?  Well everyones circumstances and reasons for supporting a club are different.

Nobody wants to travel is an interesting comment to make considering ayrshire sides have big chunks of players from the glasgow area in the teams.

Big Grant Dickie wants to come home lots of Glasgow players turned us down not interesting basic facts could give you there teams off them but that would kind of defeat the purpose

Renfrew were relegated last year and Ladeside players are leaving in droves more coming soon

in fact Ladeside beat Renfrew with three Sunday players and a Satarday player in friendly last time out

Everybody is respected in the juniors until the snakes go behind there backs

Yes I moved to Kilbirnie in P6 back in Glasgow now

Finlay gave Ladeside three years Rossvale could be back in North side by that time do no your points pretty low scoring

It's time young managers got the respect there due in here

Especially ones forced to work with lowest budgets in league and do amazing jobs who somehow find players at exactly the right time there needed

I think we are done here

Two of his players rather play for Glencairn than Ladeside

Also Gormley will bring players he always does and always will and young guys with a foot in the game are better than older guys that need there nephew or who ever else can coach any striker to become a better player to surely a incentive if you play upfront?

The end

Where is Grant Dickie off too?

Grant Dickie has been unimpressive what I have seen so far at Kilbirnie so far but will give him benefit of doubt after a pre-season, seems to have flitted about a few teams and never got a game, Tartan Tammy maybe your pal never got the job because he wanted to spend 6 grand on wages on a strker from the league below who could n,t get a game with a team near the bottom of the league

Was the striker not any good or a proven goalscorer ? Youd maybe have to sell a few players to get some cash back for that one.

Was n,t going to name the player out of respect but someone else has, Ladeside been paying that kind of money for guys for long enough with little in the way of success, guys been a good player at Cumnock no doubt

Think you will find that the deal previous ladeside manager wanted to offer was indeed worth 6 grand (wages and signing fee) and yes he was a target a few seasons ago but priced himself out of a move

Ok, good big striker in his day and a handful for defenders.
The new manager will have his own players in mind and probably signed anyway. Maybe not needed with Longworth, Craig, Scullion, Finlay, Ramsay all there he has a great variety of striking options.
