I would suspect the latter, as all of the u20s players are registered first team players as well at all clubs.
Arthurlie1981 908 Report post Posted June 27, 2020 Anyone know where the amatuers fit into the scene are they the step between under20’s and Arthurlie or are they just Arthurlies amatuer team off to one side ? My understanding is that it’s mainly made up of our former 21s who are too old to play in the 20s. Allow boys to keep playing even if they don’t move up to the first team.

Stephenafc 58 Report post Posted June 29, 2020 Yeah, all of the above is true re the Amateurs & Under 20s and our aim at the Amateurs will still be to give the boys the opportunity to progress at the club.

glensmad 4,987 Report post Posted July 10, 2020 Very good addition in Simeon but didn't see this coming regards him leaving Glencairn?? Money or just fancied a change!?You must have been the only one who didn't see it coming, lol. As soon as George Fotheringham arrived at Arthurlie there was only one place Dale was going. Good luck to all the ex-Glens boys at Arthurlie. They all leave us on good terms and with our thanks for their efforts over the past couple of years which included a terrific season where we won the West Region Championship. We'll be watching how they all get on with interest.Fortunately none of the players who have left us this summer will be playing against us in the coming season.
loughton 64 Report post Posted July 10, 2020 Bit underwhelmed by these signings probably an improvement on what they had before but can't see these recruits getting arthurlie back to anything close to what they used to be. -
