Anyone know where the amatuers fit into the scene are they the step between under20’s and Arthurlie or are they just Arthurlies amatuer team off to one side ?
I would suspect the latter, as all of the u20s players are registered first team players as well at all clubs.

My understanding is that it’s mainly made up of our former 21s who are too old to play in the 20s. Allow boys to keep playing even if they don’t move up to the first team.

it is the Arthurlie 21 team from the west of scotland 21 league last year who made the step up to the amateur game as pretty much all the boys are too old for 21 football now so they keep playing plus a few auditions.hopefully we can use this avenue  to benefit the first team in years to come

We are delighted to announce the signing of sought after player Dale Simeon from Rutherglen Glencairn. Dale has scored over 100 goals from midfield in his first few years in junior football. Dale was in high demand from several other clubs but opted to join Arthurlie.

Midfielder Jordan Leyden also returns to Dunterlie following a successful period at Rutherglen Glencairn. Jordan spent a season at the club before moving to The Celsius Stadium in the summer of 2017. We are delighted at Jordan's return and look forward to more goals and assists from the middle of the park

Another familiar face coming back to Dunterlie is David Mackay from Cumbernauld. Div has many years of experience at left back and can also play further forward. The club are delighted to have him onboard.

Very good addition in Simeon but didn't see this coming regards him leaving Glencairn?? Money or just fancied a change!?
You must have been the only one who didn't see it coming, lol. [emoji23] As soon as George Fotheringham arrived at Arthurlie there was only one place Dale was going. [emoji6]

Good luck to all the ex-Glens boys at Arthurlie. They all leave us on good terms and with our thanks for their efforts over the past couple of years which included a terrific season where we won the West Region Championship. We'll be watching how they all get on with interest.

Fortunately none of the players who have left us this summer will be playing against us in the coming season.
