Really hope the season kicks off with poss 30 teams, (3 X 10 ? ) Can see the grounds being  the main issue, with possible late switches similar to the spfl reserve set up. Would be nice to see crowds of 50+ paying whatever, going towards pitch and ref fees, costly affair these days. Positive times thankfully.

Agreed although there will be as expected and East region and a West region with two conferences in the East and two conferences in the West.
As expected there is to be 3 cups but still to be agreed so I suspect they will vote for one cup to be all-in and also an East cup and a West Cup and possible two other cups, one dedicated to the east and one to the west.
I don't think a development club can charge anymore than £2

Could it be on donations into a bucket then,be more than happy  to pay /donate £5 upwards as the pitches must be around the £75 to hire, plus referee. Depending when the season starts, think 18 games plus one cup should be workable. Glad some of the strong youth clubs are deciding to link up without losing their identity.

If they don't own the pitch then your talking over £100 - £140 as you have to book pitch for 3 hours, warm up etc...
The referees are expected to be near £60 but referee fees have beene returned to club at the end of the season
If all teams joined who applied then your talking 14 home games and 14 away games and most definitely an all in cup will be played

Beith are going to play in the AstroTurf next to bellsdale so shudnt have a problem for home games if they get accepted in the league

Wouldn't Beith be an example of the 'caged ground' with spectators standing outside ? Hopefully all the clubs get booked up with a regular ground, before it causes problems with cancellations etc.

There seems to be a tarmac walkway around the Beath astro pitch so more space to play with there if they have to install a proper railing.

This looks interesting. Northern Ireland FA is ahead of others about Covid-19 recovery plans. Their latest plan:

Irish FA: Covid-19 recovery plan update

The Irish FA has issued an updated document looking ahead to measures to help an incremental return of grassroots football to Northern Ireland.

The measures will be introduced from Monday 8 June.

Some subjects that the document will include are as follows:

  • Playing football individually.
  • Playing football with your family or people living in your household.
  • Football training or fitness activities in groups of no more than six keeping two metres apart at all times.
  • Training for two or more groups of six (including coach).

The document will also cover suggested safety instructions and hygiene protocols. You can download the full Covid-19 recovery plan below (i.e. go to their web site).

Most (if not all) current Lowland League Under 20’s don’t charge an admission fee to watch. Usually there a bucket on the way in for donations.

It’s going to be a brilliant setup once it’s all underway!

I just got a message from one of the committee at Bonnyton Thistle & he says that although most were free others charged £3 & £5.00 last season???

What do the rules state? I'm sure someone on here will know?

Would think Arthurlie will play at Cowan Park Astro or Barrhead High School. Both either side of the High School and certainly Cowan Park has a barrier.

Could anyone use Petershill on a Friday ? Wasn't there a 3g next to Scotstoun rugby ? Bit far fetched, but why don't the spfl help these clubs, can't be using their 3g/grass training pitches all the time ? Have tried to see if all the Sports Centres would fit the criteria, sure you have better knowledge than myself !
