Didn't say you'd be stuck for a manager but the phenomenal success under TS will be a tall order for anyone to replicate. I think Lok have had something like 10 managers in his time.
Tucker is 55 so I wouldn't call that 'relatively young'! For a part-time manager anyway. And also 2nd oldest in the current top flight.
Tucker (Talbot) 55
Bryan Young (Beith) 33
Paul Lovering (Bens) 44
Gordon Moffat (Clydebank) 37
Tony McInally (Cumnock) 52
Craig McEwan (Glenafton) 42
Darren Henderson (Hurlford) 53
James Latta  / Colin Spence (Meadow) 35/36
Robert Scott (Kilbirnie) 30s
Chris Strain (Kilwinning) 40
Stewart Maxwell (Rob Roy) 43
Stuart Davidson (Largs) 40
Murdo MacKinnon (Pollok) 41
David Gormley (Rossvale) 31
Willie Harvey (Glencairn) 60
Jimmy Kirkwood (Troon) 43
Feck sake Gormley should still be playing at that age, what a player he was for us

Think his knees packed in. He really struggled with running last season at Lok and dropped into the amateurs.

Could you list them in terms of longest serving managers ? Tucker obviously way out in front, but would Willie Harvey be second (10 years this summer) ?

It's clearly a nonsense for folk to say Talbot will walk it. Nobody knows who'll be a decent team or not yet, and there'll be a few surprises. I hope we finish top four, and think it would be a shock if we didn't, but one or two clubs from down below wanting to make a mark this coming season and you just never know.

I suspect on current form and recent levels of performance Talbot will do well getting through the different levels, but it won't be a walk in the park. Particularly in the LL, ask Kelty, the shire and Bonnyrigg if unsure about how challenging the LL is.

It's hard to see too many from the lower tiers nudging into the top 16 (if that's the format for 2020-21). And if the current top 4 are top seeds, again it's hard to not seeing them finishing top 4 in a division that will be weaker than this season's. Lok, Bot, Buffs, Meadow will all likely be apart from one another if we go for 4 x 16/17 non-regional. Not finishing top 4 would mean finishing lower than teams that were in relegation trouble this season. Over 30/32 games I just don't see it.

A lot of people saying football won’t return with spectators in the stadiums until 2021. Surely it won’t be that long for the WOSFL? Social distancing could easily be adhered to at 95% of the grounds

Everybody just going to hold it in and bring a packed lunch?

But would the crowds increase if it was the only live football open to the public? Couldn't control the numbers as effectively as you could with a ticketed match in a stadium either.

Hints from Spain and Italy no football before 2021

Its not just the crowds in a ground, unless coming to watch a game of standing football of course?

Football is a fast flowing, free moving, contact sport. Players generally play in close proximity to one another.

If social distancing is still in place sporting events won't take place. If social distancing is relevant for fans then it will have to be relevant for players and coaches. Which is obviously pi$h for all of us. [emoji30]

This morning, like all other clubs in the old West Region, we were invited to retain membership of the SJFA. We decided against it. This is a new beginning for us and while that means we won't be eligible to enter the Scottish Junior Cup, we're comfortable with our decision.

I wonder if there will be more statements like this today then, and how accurate the 53/63 number was from the Sunday Mail had a week ago.

EDIT: As part of the follow on you've got Maryhill suggesting a possible WoS Cup, League Cup and another. There's obviously going to be a few different ideas on how to shape the WoSFL competitions.

This is what happens when proper football men leave or sadly pass on at once big club junior club and you let a bunch of wrestling cowboys take charge of a club.

Already read a couple of bemused posts from supporters.

Saying that grand scheme of things they won't be missed in the junior cup .

The mythical cup that is so beloved by the people running Junior football that they are allowing Senior clubs to win it in perpetuity.

edit - 61 likes on the Twitter posts and all comments positive. Aye hatred of the future and clubs progressing is such a great thing.
