I just want everyone to remember that the Hearts boys on here aren't worried about themselves going down.

It's other smaller teams they are sticking up for.

Just out of interest in your opinion what have Celtic done here?

Do you think Celtic would have voted yes had Rangers been top of the league?

I’ve seen a whole load of Rangers fans moaning about collusion, bullying and coercion etc, they fail to mention the Scotty Gardiner WhatsApp special which was clearly set up to lock in and collude on voting no. Not to mention wee Budgie ringing round the clubs. Every side was at it.

Yes.

Do you think Hearts would feel differently if they were in 11th?

Ok.

Just checking.

You're, of course, either lying or deluded.

Of course not

Would Hearts have voted No if they were 7th and Hibs were bottom?

I doubt very much Budge would vote to relegate the Tramps if it was avoidable.

She's quite pally with them and sets a lot of store by having a good relationship with them.

Of course, the ultimate deciding factor would always be self-interest. That's why this idea of giving clubs a vote to allow themselves to win titles or vote themselves safe from relegation battles has been farcical from the start.

You've avoided a question there.

Answered in another post. I'm not a deluded fantasist.

IMHO those in charge at Celtic want the title awarded at any/all cost, any club in their position would want the same.

Theres obviously been a lot of lobbying behind the scenes from a lot of clubs (mines included) but it’s pretty clear to me that Lowell has been pulling more strings.

Would you have expected Hearts to take a different stance on our predicament?

You're either deluded or a fantasist.

You're an Old Firm supporter, so I'm not surprised that you are out of your depth talking about other clubs.

Hearts' alternative universe votes on this issue would go something like this:

Hearts and Hibs both sitting safe from relegation: Hearts vote Yes.

Hearts safe, Hibs bottom, Hearts can wait a bit for the cash: Hearts vote No.

Hearts safe, Hibs bottom, Hearts desperate for the cash: Hearts vote yes.

Budge's instinct would be to keep Hibs in the league. She's been quite clear that she views their presence and prosperity as a good thing for Hearts. She'd only vote them down if we had a real need to do so.

Of course, being a Celtic fan, you'll know nothing about how anything works outside the Old Firm.

Fantasist it is then.

I don't know what I'm talking about so am doubling down on an ill-informed opinion.

Fixed that for you, pal.
