Taken from the dafc statement.

'a potential consequence of their action not to back the spfl resolution'

Isn't that a bloody threat?

Not really, a potential consequence of you going for a walk is falling through a manhole - that isn't a threat that I'm going to make it happen.

If someone was to heavily imply that if you didn’t do something they wanted then you may very well ‘accidentally’ fall down said manhole when out walking it could be construed as a threat.

More and more shit coming out about this vote, can it be allowed to stand now after all the allegations of bullying to get the vote through?

I'm actually starting to think next season won't happen now anyway, what a mess we are in 😢

Had a listen to clyde 1 SSB and Doncaster has apparently hit back with how can any enquiry be impartial if Rangers are funding it.  Good point was made to come forward and ask the law society of Scotland to do the investigation that way theres no ties to any club.

How would it be impartial if the SPFL funded it in that case...

It's about time there was independent regulation for football.  The clubs are not fit to do it themselves.  You've only got to look at the shambles elsewhere in the British Isles.  The FA of Ireland is bankrupt, the EFL is biased, incompetent, and under-resourced...

There would be no ties to any of the clubs, Donald Finlay QC has said he will take it on if it was to succeed at the EGM straight away you have a Rangers interest there and any finding would be in Sevcos favour.  If the Law Society for Scotland one of their lawyers doing it there would be no tie to any specific club.

Thing is every club voted for their own interests and all had their own agenda the League 2 clubs want the SPFL to be a closed shop so as they dont need to worry about dropping to the lowland and highland leagues then you have the league 1 clubs that are swayed with more money from Partick and Falkirk attendances to boost their coffers.  The only ones without much of an agenda are the championship sides with the exception of Partick. Dundee and Ayr prob realised their chances of winning a play off was slim to moderate so theres your votes and why they voted the way they did right there. and the Premiership well its back to the Self Preservation League for them so dont expect anything but crumbs but as long as its not theirs.

The same fans who were wanting Ross McArther sacked when he criticised the support for racist chanting and coin chucking not so long ago are now lapping this up.

A fantastic piece of twisted misrepresentation there.

Do you think it will stand if there is an independent enquiry into it?

All he has to do is take the cost of the enquiry out of Rangers owed prize money surely.  Doesnt have to be rangers organising it.

I'd would've loved to see them trying to get their money back off clubs if there had to be a revote and it failed to pass.

Donald Finlay has actually been very critical if rangers in the press but still cant be linked to any club.

Whole thing is a shambles SPFL saying they dont give loans out due to Gretna not paying theirs back before going defunct despite there being no evidence in the accounts to say Gretna were never loaned any money.  There needs to be more transparency after this but i have no idea how the clubs are going to have any sort of trust/faith in the SPFL and its processes after this.

What does anyone expect? Professional football is a fundamentally crooked activity attracting money launderers, drug dealers, con men - and that's just the boardrooms! It's designed to funnel as much money from the sport as possible into the smallest number of pockets.
