Was wondering if government will pay 80% of players wages it may not help the bigger premiership players but could help players in other 3 leagues .
Or players classed as self employed ?

Isn't that what has happened though?  They can't play and can't train.

Since the majority of Scottish football clubs are part time, would suggest most players already have an alternative income

Won't the government only pay the 80% for people who would otherwise have been laid off?  Some clubs will be able to make a case but not all.

They'll just put the players as furloughed, which the government pledged to pay upto £2,500 per month to.

If you include non-league clubs, yes. With regard to the SPFL, half the clubs are full-time and another couple are hybrids.

Are Airdrie still full time? If so that pushes the number of full time clubs in the SPFL to just over half (23).
