Today's reason for making five year old cry, helped him with spelling 'for'.
Apparently telling him only one f was enough.

I am very good at this parenting lark.

Probably heard you saying "effin" with your angry voice before, as in there's only one f in for.

It’s him, it’s not you.

He's fairly sensitive at the moment, not seeing school friends and today we were meant to be driving from cork to Edinburgh to see family
Seems easy to trigger at the moment and it the most ridiculous of things

Oh more than likely. It's probably first time I have used effin educationally and it's confused the poor bugger

Tomato purée goes in the fridge once it’s opened and why is there a tub of glue in the rack?

The lady of the house selected and placed the items in the spice rack.

Il assume the glue is high out the way to stop the wean eating it.

You can Get back to drinking your ditchwater wine now throbber.

Yesterday I made a haddock and two mustard gratin and home made eclairs (nom nom thread for pics of eclairs) and they were delicious but a lot of fucking effort. Today I’m making a paella, one of my favourite dishes. Not had it for ages. Looking forward to it.

Sampled my home brewed lager. Disappointing fizz levels. Taste is pretty good. Quite bitter, which I kinda expected due to certain things in my process.

What's most noticable though, is that the alcohol proceeds directly to the brain stem and works away from the first sip.

Today, in the interests of science and on the recommendations from here, I shall mostly be trying this -

Wow. Thought that was a joke. Wouldn’t use that to clean the chain on my bike.
