Celtic should pay out a few thousand quid for every seat their fans have ever ruined.
There ain't enough money in the World for that.

Amazes me that fans presume because some people are either on the board or associated with a club and they have a lot of money, that they will pump it in when the club needs it.

Billy Bowie & Phyllis McLeish will......

"Cash flow is not a problem for us. If this [the health crisis] goes on for five or six months, then yes, it could be, but the club has two millionaire directors on its board and we are both here for the long haul. We care about this club.”

"My own loan to Kilmarnock at one point was £900,000 but that has been cut back to about £680,000 as things stand. Obviously, I’m not looking to have any of that paid back just now and, if I need to add to it, I will.”

It cant apply across all lower league clubs but I do wonder if being a 'wee' club living on scraps season to season means you survive this possible disaster because they are built to do it. Meanwhile the dinosaurs further up cant avoid the asteroid.

Let's hope so!

More to the point for wee clubs the players wages will be sufficiently low that the government support will actually cover most of them

So. Let me get this straight. Are you implying............that the sensible thing for bigger clubs to do when there's no income....................is to get their players.............................to accept ...............................wage cuts?

Controversial. Apparently.

Why didn't the 'Socialist Celtic' fans cause an uproar at their club using the furlough scheme like Liverpool did who were utterly ashamed as this went against their clubs values?

I suppose by Rangers also doing it then it saves us from another one of those stupid old firm slagging sayings - 'Furlough Celtic'
