Highland League - Season ended

Seeing the SPFL statement today, they are proposing abandoning the Champ/L1/L2 divisions. No relegation from SPFL L2 specified. All play offs cancelled. Reconstruction potentially discussed if the abandonment is backed. Where does this leave Kelty/Bonnyrigg/Brora?

In the fifth tier, presumably.

What percentage of votes is needed to pass this, anyone know?

Pretty much, aye. The only route left would be via reconstruction, or a temporary expansion of L2, which I don't see happening tbqh. Wonder if the LL, Kelty or Bonnyrigg will try to take forward any legal challenge if this passes and there is no relegation from L2.

I still think it's too early to make any major decisions like this, not knowing how any of this will pan out.

They can't promote anyone when they don't know who to promote.

Not really a solution though - plenty of creative ways to solve it. Football will resume. Highland League unimpressed. I am sure LL likewise.

75% I believe. No a cat in hells chance it will get passed. It leaves too many clubs unhappy. For me their best option is divi up the prize money and restructure.
