You want stupidity, we give you stupidity:
Every unplayed played game shall be decided via a penalty shoot out. If, after 5 shots, the goals are equal, the shootout will cease and a draw be scored. The winner of a shootout is awarded 3 points and 2 net goals, the loser 0 points and -2 net goals. A draw is a point a piece and no net goal change.
Complete the season like this, in one afternoon, on all TV channels. The shootout shall be held at a single stadium, with an artificial surface, chosen by a majority vote of the 42 teams, each team getting one vote. The teams shall also vote for the one referee and one linesmen that shall call the event, majority rules.
In the case of both votes, if the first ballot does not result in a majority result, the name with the lowest total shall be disqualified and a revote shall occur between only the remaining names until a majority vote for a single name for each choice.

You’ve really given this a lot of thought haven’t you???

Nah, just a bonus opportunity to point out the utter stupidity of the shoot-out.

Just for fun, leafed through the SPFL Rules and found:

Club Ceasing to Operate, Participate in and/or be a Member of the League

C50 If, for any reason and during or after any Season, any Club ceases to operate or participate in or to be member of the League or any Play-Off Competition, its playing record in the League and/or any Play-Off Competitions may be expunged by the Board and/or the Board may determine the deemed score in the remainder of its Official Matches and/or the Board may take such steps and make such determinations as to League and Divisional position and/or promotion and/or relegation and participation and/or results in and outcome of any Play-Off Competition and/or any other Competition operated by the Company and any and all such further or other steps or measures as the Board shall consider appropriate in the circumstances.”

Reading that’s carefully, since all clubs ceased to operate or participate...they could do just about anything they want.

Chile had a similar problem, not being able to finish the league due to civil unrest.

Their SFA equivalent had a near civil war, so what they did was no team got demoted, and they promoted the top 2 teams in each league.

Seems pretty fair.

Also they should look at moving up some of the Lowland / Highland clubs.

Infact, Scottish football needs a total shake up.

Do away with junior football and move the teams into divisions of Highland and Lowland?
