Clubs going bust due to cv19

Trump is not most folks cup of tea. Very sleazy like Clinton, but so what!

Most great leaders are imperfect.

But

He got the economy booming

The stock  market was  at all time highs and it will return.

He has reduced illegal immigration

He greatly increased employment amongst the blacks and Hispanics.

He got the US out of many foreign conflicts.

He showed solidarity towards Israel which is one of the few progressive Middle East states.

He has reduced pc nonsense

He recognises the hopelessness of the EU which is a political union without fiscal or monetary union. Impossible to work.

Our diaries are pretty clear now, so let's all just pencil in "Dawson Park Boy making a c**t of himself again" for two weeks today. Looking forward to it.

Looks like the lower end of the spectrum will be about right - 20000.

He was giving himself huge amount of wiggle room.

Trump was on the ball when he banned flights coming in from China in January.

otherwise things could have been a lot worse.

You may  recall that all the lefties were accusing him of xenophobia and racism at the time.

America will soon be back working again as should we.

Sweden has kept on pretty much as normal with no worse results.

Hope you’re all having a good lockdown.

Madness!!

Just had a look at the Forth Valley figures.

78in hospital and under 5 in ICU.

And for that our economy is paralysed, people are losing jobs and income and cancer and other health matters are being ignored.

Plus the vast majority in hospital are pensioners, like me, most of whom are willing to take their chances.

Sorry, not a good trade off.

And how many do you think would be in hospital if the lock-down hadn't happened? We may just have reached a stage where, err, cancer patients may have to be ignored because the NHS couldn't cope!

You've already said that you would use the NHS if you caught the virus because you're 'entitled' to it. How would you feel if they weren't able to treat you (or one of your loved ones) because they were overwhelmed due to folk like you who ignored any advice?

Bullshit. Trump NEVER banned flights into the U.S. Trump. On Jan 31, six weeks after intelligence briefed him on the virus, he restricted the entry to the U.S. of foreign nationals who had visited China in the previous 14 days. If you’re gonna go ahead and publicly fellate the moron, do it for factual reasons, eh?

“Back working again...madness”, is correct, if out of context. Every medical expert says we have months to go, and Donnie has a raging hard-on to open things up so he can get re-elected. Let’s look at his quotes:

“We pretty much shut it down...” (Jan)

”We’re going very substantially down, not up...” (Feb)

”And this is their new hoax!”

”I think we’re doing a really good job in this country of keeping it down...” (Mar)

”I’ve always known this is a real, this is a pandemic.” (Apr)

This lying c**t couldn’t lead sailors to a whorehouse, and yet you parrot his crap here, just like you suck up to the current BoD. I hope, for your health, you have the sense to avoid those protests to open stuff up, though your posts here don’t indicate that level of intelligence.

Trump reminds me of the mayor in the Jaws movie, remember him? Mr Mayor, there's a big fuckin shark eating people out there! No there's not, it's just your imagination, get the beaches open! We're not selling enough ice cream FFS!!

All you lot can do is carp.

Absolutely no answer to the great successes he oversaw.

Markets up, pensions up, what not to like.

Obviously a bunch of leftie losers.

Do you work for Fox News?

He may have had the markets buoyant pre Covid-19 and had some economic wins, but this just reflects his career as a patchy businessman  - but this is also the problem. He's just a businessman (now going a bit senile) who only cares about the stock market and it's effect on his re-election. Breaking news - everything is fcuked now!

What America needs is indeed a decisive leader - not someone who lies , blames everyone else, argues with reporters, threatens state governors, gives out bogus health advice, boasts about his TV ratings for national briefings, has Jared Kushner as an advisor, encourages protesters against stay-at-home rules advised by his own experts etc etc

Trump says no one seen this virus coming - well no-one except the last 3 presidents who all invested healthy in the CDC to guard against a pandemic until Trump came along and stripped it bare.

If he is the self proclaimed "War President" then his lies, misinformation, bogus advice and total mishandling of the crisis in the US should see him put on trial  for war crimes. He has blood on his little piggy hands.

One thing is sure there are a lot of thick rednecks in the US willing to ignore all of this and definitely one in Dawson Park.

Dawson Park Boy obviously does not realise we live in a global village and have access to world TV, mind you him clearly showing himself to be a redneck should not surprise us in his views.

I have family in America and it concerns me that the "Leader"( there's a laugh) of that country is a slavering, uneducated, philandering, compulsive pathological liar who simply says what suits him ,at that time, and DEFINITLE not the average American.

The quicker this guy is chucked out the better for the whole planet.

Reminds me of Dawson P boy ie an utter total walloper.

Proceeds to put DPB on ignore!!

I don't think we do.

Agree. Behaviours are environment driven. Once the environment is declared to be less hostile than it currently is, behaviours will change to whatever is considered the norm.

It's simple really: you & Trump believe in profit before people, we don't.

Sturgeon suggesting some form of social distancing will be in place until a vaccine is ready. That's not expected for at least 12 months and until then this will impact on attendance at sporting events.

For all seater stadiums, for once, there is possibly an advantage there in that it's easier to police social distancing. Something like Starks Park, you could make it like one in every 4 seats is available. Not like we ever get more than a quarter of our capacity outside of derby games anyway.

It'd be shite for atmosphere and would constrain crowds to a lower limit, but if combined with some form of pass limited streaking up to a given number of users and we could at least make a go of it...
