That presupposes a rule change before it becomes mathematically impossible.

And it is the rule change that is being criticised as unfair.

You are therefore putting the cart before the horse.

This new habit that you have adopted is becoming quite annoying.

Thank you.

Best way of doing this is just promoting two teams from each league. No relegation. Brora and Kelty prompted to league 2.

Premiership will have 14 teams splitting into 2 after playing each other home and away. Each group then play each other home and away again. Sky still get their 4 OF games. Best solution imo.

With one team sitting idle every week after the split?

...........and that is fair on teams that are not currently sitting in 1st and 2nd place but can still get promoted because...........

I guess the only real issue with that is that a team could finish their games before the final day of the season, but need certain results to go their way, giving the other team/teams an advantage...

And that's a pretty big potential issue to be fair. Could end up with a 'Germany-Austria scenario'...

However, all said, as a jags fan, I wholeheartedly support this proposal! ;)

So say it’s voted through don’t think it will be and uefa carry out their threat to clubs trying to curtail their leagues.

Would you then have lower leagues back in August and top league back in say October

Allegations of 'bullying' being thrown about and Lachlan Cameron essentially confirming clubs are being blackmailed to accept this deal:

I reckon Rangers have a point tbf. The money can be dished out without having to pass this through.

ETA: Although the SPFL calling Rangers out on incompetence is hilarious and made me be a total fence sitter on this matter now. I'm here to eat popcorn, stir the pot and enjoy the ride from now!

The final sentence in that SPFL statement is an out and out lie. And confirms that the SPFL are indeed bullying and intimidating clubs.

Yeah - “The alternative is further weeks, and possibly months, of uncertainty and financial hardship for dozens of clubs which are desperately looking for a way to survive.”

That's an absolute shit show from the SPFL. And it's not as catchy as ARMAGEDDON. Piss poor.

SPFL board not happy with Rangers and err, a fellow SPFL board member...

Seems like Rangers have made a c**t of their submission(twice)? So that just leaves the SPFL proposal unless someone can come up with another proposal before the SPFL pull the plug on the lower leagues.
