HibeeJibee
Crowds return to Ross County, Inverness, Elgin, most HL etc. from this weekend: 300 limit, no away fans. No southerly areas eligible currently but Dumfries & Galloway, Borders and Fife are 1 'step' away. https://spfl.co.uk/news/jrg-update-04-nov-20 Scottish football’s Joint Response Group has today welcomed the Scottish Government decision to allow 300 fans to attend some professional football matches. The decision follows publication of the Scottish Government’s Coronavirus (Covid-19) Strategic Framework for Scotland, which allows restricted numbers of fans to attend stadia located in local authority areas with Protection Level 1 of the Framework. The JRG will work with Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, Elgin City FC and those Highland League clubs also in Level 1 local authority areas over the coming weeks on their operational plans, to ensure the safe return of fans to those clubs as soon as possible. This means that Ross County FC will welcome up to 300 home fans to the Global Energy Stadium for the visit of Livingston FC this Friday, 6 November.
HibeeJibee
Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway both moving to tier 1 from Friday. If they wish (and once they've completed the necessary protocols and preparation) that will allow Dalbeattie, Gretna, Gala and Vale to admit crowds of up to 300. It also raises an intriguing scenario for Berwick. We were unable to return to training or friendlies earlier, plus were unable to admit crowds between late August and early November, as we had to adhere to Scottish regulations despite ground being in England. Presumably that interpretation now applies the opposite way? EDIT: Bo'ness and 'Shire drop into tier 2 being Falkirk. Everyone else remain held in tier 3 though. LongTimeLurker
Complicates the narrative surrounding any relegation avoidance inspired departure by VoL, Dalbeattie or Gretna, and would Edinburgh Uni depend on game day revenues the way other clubs do?
Andy groundhopper
Hopefully the lower tiers will allow fans to attend quite a few games asap, guess most clubs would be happy to get 300 hardy souls through the gate. Most changes are economy based, let's see every club get some help then. Positive
HibeeJibee
Gala planning for 200 v Annan on Boxing Day. Clubcard holders only. Wonder if this might be repeated for the Borders derby v Mighty Berwick Rangers on New Years Day.
AlansHotBath
Dalbeattie (in tier 1) have announced they're working to get fans back in - around 60 capacity, from 9th Jan onwards at the earliest. Still, good news, and hopefully it works out well for them and any other clubs able to make that step https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dalbeattiestarfc/news/statement-2590829.html

Bit of a significant rise in the borders. They're currently worse that level 3 aberdeenshire and they'll be back over the magic 100 by Sunday if not before. Big numbers today (well 22 which is certainly enough for wee nippy to shut down the borders)

HibeeJibee
Borders situation is unclear... rise from low-levels is apparently driven by ward outbreaks at Borders General (25) and Hay Lodge (9) hospitals, and within Berwickshire High School (16).
