To be honest its only a game your health is much more important than a team of 11 kicking a ball about to try and win 3 points!!!!

Keep safe and healthy everyone no matter who you support. Sure the footy will be back sometime so just take care of yourself and your families

It's only a matter of time until a few players get it, even at this level. Once that happens and whole squads are having to go into self isolation the game will be up.

Are players going to want to take the extra risk of exposing themselves to the virus to play football? All the physical contact etc will mean they have a higher chance of getting it.

They have a hugely lower chance of getting it playing football than in their workplace, on the train or bus, in a pub or in a cinema, none of which are being shut down.

It's worth noting that the SFA have taken this decision without any expert advice and not on the advice of the governments. They've done it in response to public clamour.

All football cancelled in Italy, Spain, England , Scotland etc and what have the Germans done?

Laid their towels down in the hospital beds.

How can I put this, f**k off

I assume you'll be picketing your local pub for staying open at this time of national crisis?

As long as they have toilet rolls I will stand by them. As Tammy Wynette said “stand by your pan”

Voiding is the worst idea. Postpone the start of next season, change the format if necessary, but finish this season in the end, no matter what.

You can't do that, you just ruin next season as well.   Finishing this season "come what may" is daft.

Tough choice either way Burnie.  As a Kelty supporter I'd be gutted if we voided the season but I can see it the other way too.  For what it's worth I think we have played enough games to call it on average points per game and play the playoffs behind closed doors - slight bias in there I will admit though!

Or cancel a cup next season and finish this one off as soon as feasible.

It's not an easy decision either way and not every club will be happy, but this season just isn't going to be completed.  We're facing an imminent announcement that over 70's should "social distance" for a period of 4 months, that indicates how long this will last as they are apparently looking to "flatten the curve" by extending the period this outbreak lasts, or something like that.

So at a very rough guess, you're looking at the start of August before you can start kicking a ball again, and you'll require a period pf pre-season.   We'll be lucky to get next season started on time at this rate.

Obvious what’s going to happen , we will wait see what English premiership does then like lambs everyone will follow suit

That’s not what’s happened up to now? We are cancelled indefinitely, they are only off til 3rd April at this point.

Kudos for being honest buddy. Everyone wants to see an outcome that’s  best for their own club, it’s human nature.  Fairest way for all IMHO is to complete this season before starting another whether that means resuming on the 3rd of April playing behind closed doors or waiting until June. That will be up to the authorities and who knows how that will turn out. Every true fan wants to see the season finished. Those that claim it’s daft and want to see this season null and void are saying fook you to Kelty & Bonnyrigg Rose, fook you to Bo’ness , Broxburn and H.O.B. Fook you too Tynecastle and the 4 other clubs who still have a chance of promotion from the other conference.

No, those who are saying void the season are dealing with reality and practicalities of this, and wanting to minimise disruption to next season. You won't be playing in April or June.

Who’s to say we will be playing in July or August? They’ve given themselves 3 weeks to monitor the outbreak. No decision has been made or is likely before then unless as is predicted by specialists it becomes 10x’s worse. Only alternative to not finishing the season then would be to take current league positions as final and award titles/ promotion to teams at the top. Hard lines on those that are relegated.

We might not be.  You can't use current league posiitons with some teams having played more games than others, that would create havoc.

Average points per game would solve that? No perfect but writing off a full season seems wasteful.

Where have you been? Havoc has already been created. It’s how we restore normality that’s up for debate. Your team benefitted from havoc a couple of seasons back and have had a year  in the premier after scraping the last available place from the conference last season. Don’t you agree Tynecastle having gone a full season undefeated from same conferences deserve their opportunity?  Current league positions would see them promoted and Blackburn back where they belong. That’s why you don’t want it. Finishing the season is highly unlikely to change that either so that’s why you think that option is daft, although  I do agree you make a valid point as to players contracts and so forth. No, you think it makes more sense to void the whole season and forget the efforts and promotion hopes  made by everyone at Kelty, Bonnyrigg, Bo’ness, Broxburn, H.O.B and even Kinnoull this season because it’s the only scenario that saves your own club from being relegated

Ignore.

It wouldn't really.   I see reports of Hearts taking legal action if any decision relegates them.

Anything that creates even more of a clusterf*ck isn't a good idea.

Please do, I know I’ve hit the nail on the head when your only response it a red dot .

You've been a member here for less than a week, and are a Kelty fan with an equally vested interest in a certain outcome. You're not being promoted, try and deal with it a bit better.

Think a solution is if no games played then standings as they are , spfl excepts two more teams into league football , no relegation , top two teams of each league promoted as they are, premiership goes with 14 teams playing each other 2 times ?🤔
