Guest DAVIDB69
Why did the circumstances of the game effect us more than israel
Mr. Brightside
Robertson has been hopeless. I would blame it on the formation, but I think that would be a generous assessment - even the basics have been awful. Plus he rarely shows up for Scotland.

St Innes
What an absolute pish second half. Why was Forest still on the pitch? Tbf Not that he was much worse than so e of the others.
NotThePars
Less than two years ago we beat Israel at Hampden 3-2 under McLeish. Forrest hat trick. The same Forrest who couldn’t cross a road tonight. We weren’t great that night but we won, played some good attacking stuff and scored some good goals. Much more than can be said for us tonight. It’s quite clear we have regressed since then. Absolutely brutal under Clarke, again. Not saying we should sack him, not sure who would even take the job. Getting to the stage now where you just accept that not beating Israel home is to be expected. I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if they beat us next month. We’re just so... bad. Forrest only has a worldie if literally everyone in the world doesn’t expect anything from him. The most infuriating player in football.
Dunning1874
A McLeish performance and a worse than McLeish result. People have said that Scotland need to pick a system and stick with it. Clarke had a system which we'd been winning with and he chose to tear it up tonight for no apparent reason, making us poorer in every area of the park. An insane decision leading to a completely unacceptable result.
HuttonDressedAsLahm
Apparently we had 11 shots. I refuse to believe that
tintax
Absolute shite that, it really was. Clarke got it so very wrong tonight. I'm also sick of James Forrest, he offers nothing for Scotland.
forameus
To give a slight positive, I think there's potential in using Dykes to his strengths, but once again it showed just how woeful we are when the midfielders can't support the lone frontman. Get people around Dykes, he should be able to make things happen. We defended pretty well too, at least a little less worrisome than usual. The rest though? Deary me.

HuttonDressedAsLahm
3-4-2-1 in the bin, along with the 4-6-0 we did nothing that night. We did absolutely nothing tonight

Staggie_93
Really turgid, uninspiring stuff. It’s about time we bin these c***s in midfield who are only there because they play for the OF. How McGregor, Jack and Forrest lasted 90 minutes was just unbelievable. if we’re going to hoof balls at Dykes, who did really well to hold the ball up, we at least need others close to him. superkillieaway
Time to give up on Callum McGregor being a Scotland player. He is just not what we need. Get McTominay and McGinn in the centre of the park. Get 4 at the back. Dont remember Killie ever having as much a lethargy about them as this team does under Clarke. Are the players just not playing for him or has he just chucked that playbook out the window. That was extremely uninspiring.
Distant Doonhamer
I can't believe Jack and McGregor are going to play 90 minutes here. The invisible men. Absolutely rotten.Have to say I thought Jack was one of our better players tonight. McGregor was terrible though.Given how we played I thought Dykes did pretty well.
Guest bernardblack
Tierney chipping the ball into no one was beyond infuriating. We must be the only nation to play our best player out of position...plays in a back four for Liverpool and we make him play wing back in a five. Forrest also isn’t a wing back. Burke came on just to give away lazy foul after foul. Was a huge fan of Provan giving it the “well Israel will be here to give us a game next month” when they were comfortably the best team
