Savage Henry
What does postponement mean? Next day? Don't know if clubs have to release players if a game is outside the set international windows.Victory for Israel on alphabetical order.

an86
It will spread widely around the UK, as it has elsewhere, and there have been stadium closures in Italy and now France. No reason why the same thing won't happen here. It might not, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Hauzen
Israeli government enforcing 14 day quarantine for anyone entering the country from Thursday, would this impact on their national team and FA officials coming to the UK for this game if they were then not able to return home easily afterwards? Strong likelihood of postponement, or even forfeit?
craigkillie
I feel like a postponement will be an absolute last resort for UEFA - there literally isn't any other time to get these played before the tournament.

Their manager said last week he can’t go to Israel because he’d get quarantined. -

Gaz FFC
Hampden gets slagged rotten by all comers but a full/noisy Hampden is a 12th Man.

If the tournament even happens. A mass attended competition, with thousands of fans criss-crossing across a dozen countries just doesn't seem likely at the moment - irrespective of what UEFA wants.
forameus
Hypothetically with this, Israel presumably have a squad they'd pick ideally. If some of them are quarantined, or not safe to play in their FA's mind, what's the contingency for that? Do UEFA demand they move down the ranks until they find 25 that can represent them and effectively force them to play the game? Do they force a forfeit should they not play ball? I get that would be incredibly unpopular given the circumstances, but if they have any designs on having this tournament, they really need these games decided in their intended slot. 55 minutes ago, George Parr said: If the tournament even happens. A mass attended competition, with thousands of fans criss-crossing across a dozen countries just doesn't seem likely at the moment - irrespective of what UEFA wants. UEFA will be sitting desperately mashing F5 on news sites desperately hoping for some good news, because unless there's a big turnaround in what's happening, they surely can't countenance having this kind of European Championship. France have banned gatherings above 1000, and Italy are essentially closed. Granted it's - at the moment at least - a temporary measure, but it's hard to see a month making that much difference. Having people crossing Europe in this manner seems like a pretty stupid idea. I guess there's probably specific countries out there who could still hold a tournament themselves at short notice (England specifically), but, to be honest, would they want to?
charger29
Israel now have a two week quarantine on everyone who enters the country so it doesn't just affect the manager and one or two players in specific european countries anymore. Will have to meet up in the UK I guess. Any player returning to Israel after the game/s would also miss several club games which creates another mess. Not sure if Israel are the first of the 16 playoff teams to have a blanket quarantine on new arrivals but all it takes is a higher seed to do this and that playoff path is fucked.Thought there was a decent chance of most games going ahead behind closed doors, don't really see it now.Euro's in summer 2021 and try to get FIFA to come up with a few emergency dates for the playoff fixtures.
The Moonster
Israels "quarantine for everyone" seems like fairly strong rule for having only 50 confirmed cases. I fully expect UEFA to tell them to deal with it.

George Parr
I'm not convinced they actually sold all the tickets in the end. Just called it sold out as there's a growing chance every c**t is going to have to be refunded.
John Lambies Doos
This game won't go ahead, nor will the final. As Scotland is seeded 1 out of said 4 and some games are at Hampden.. I'd fully expect Uefa to make the decision that Scotland take the Euro place. Unfortunately it's possible that the Euros themselves will not go ahead.
