Who's making the play-offs?

^ that would depend on whether they decide to give Cetic 9IAR or just void it all. It'll be absolute heads gone scenes either way - possibly the fallout will be more entertaining that play-offs ever could be!!!

^ Depending on how long the 'break' is and final decision regarding whether the season is void (Scottish football will just follow the EPL for ideas on that as usual) there may be a struggle to find 12 full time teams still in existence. Players have contracts still needing paid so its possible that some clubs may yet go to the wall if trying to fill legal obligations of paying salaries for months with no income.

In that regard I think postponing the season is a better option than playing games behind closed doors. For now they can act like it's the end of the season, and continue as normal once large groups can gather again. BCD games would be catastrophic for Scottish football clubs,as that's too much lost revenue to take.

9(8)IAR probably doesn't compare with Liverpool just 2 or 3 wins from outright being Premier Champion winners for the first time ever!  I reckon titles will be awarded.  The set up for play-offs etc is a more serious issue.

Agreed, but if as the media suggest the peak in the UK will be 10-14 weeks (eek) that's 3 months of salaries. The 3 or so months of the summer is budgeted for, this will not and even if the clubs did survive financially then hard on the back of this would still be another period of summer/between season breaks. This also takes no account for the craziness that tehre may be players on PCA or out of contract during a season now.

We all agree its unprecedented but for clubs such as ICT who have already got financial woes this could be a real case of disaster. Teams such as Dundee or those with wealthy backers may be able to stumble through. Ultimately I think fans need to be prepared for not just the virus and the potential fatalities in communities but also the death of some clubs.

That's the point, as yet Liverpool or Celtic or any other club in Europe has not mathematically won their league or been relegated. If (for arguments sake) Liverpool were awarded the title then what would stop Man City and/or others going to court to contest, similar with relegation's and in the case of countries like Spain/Germany/Italy there are some big clubs to contest that had the games played out they could have won. National FA's & UEFA & FIFA wouldn't want this and how long that could all drag on for - it would leave decisions like qualifiers for CL/EL undecided and the next season competition in limbo.

Depending on how long the 'break' is (anything more than a few wks) then expect the season to voided worldwide . For 20/21 see this season reset to game zero (kind of like Championship Manager when it all goes to shit)

Do not CL or EL next season as no one has qualified for them?

Honestly think UEFA and the top leagues/teams in Europe would forfeit the huge pay days that are the Champions League & Europa League - TV, internet, advertising. sponsors - no way that would be sacrificed? Money talks - not whats right

That may be the case, but both Dundee clubs vastly overspend and are probably even more susceptible to devastating losses. It's not a great time for any club, tbh.

Exactly, and for lower ranked teams the qualifiers usually start in very early July.  If you dont declare winners and runners-up and so on then who goes in to these tournaments, especially if a team has done well this year but wasnt in a Euro spot last season?
