Greenlantern
Fresh from the disappointment of Thursday night, I thought the players rolled their sleeves up and got the job done.

Even the official Celtic match report isnt claiming that. Bizarre. Very odd. Watched it on Tv and Strachan, Sutton and Craigan were very complimentary to Saints. 50/50 game .... then I went on BBC ???

Bose
Feels weird tonight. Out of the cup but very happy at the progress we are making with a young side that should only get better.

I was in the Ormond stand and noticed empty seats in the stand on the right hand side but ffs it was a c..t of a day and St Johnstone couldn’t even fill a stand and your gon on about empty seats. -

This.I don't recall a time I've been as satisfied with our team in wake of defeat. Difficult to put across how much potential is in this side.

A side that will no doubt be decimated if it carries on like this.

At least they're mostly on long term contracts, so the sale should pay for the replacement.

Not a problem but would be even better if some of your own lot could turn up on the day and fill one stand instead of some arse going on about away seats not getting filled.

Using your psychological scarring from the Big Bad Rangers of the 90s to justify hoarding wealth and completely eliminating competitive football in Scotland. Having dosh in the bank means Celtic don't need it on the pitch to dominate Scottish football plus it's not a crime. When Celtic lose a cup game I'm sure all the credit will go to the opponent. St Johnstone played well but instead of giving them credit your having a pop at Celtic. It would be great to see a green and white final but you can feck right off.

Nothing funny about players having a good few months then they’re gone. No mention of being doomed, just the frustrating nature of the game nowadays. As Randoom says, long contracts should mean we at least get a decent sum with which to fund replacements/increase the bank balance.
