Also i must add does the person who runs the Morton twitter account realise they've not just won the league?

Why the f**k didn't Michael Moffat just head the ball into the net? Horrific decision.

Also, is Scott Tiffoney is supposedly an upgrade on Craig McGuffie then I am just not seeing it.

He’s frustrating because he’s amazing at holding up play and passing yet he’s the only player I’ve seen pass the ball inside the six yard box when it was easier to score.

Well, that was unexpected. :)

Miles away from Saturday's defensive efforts, and in the second half you could see that they had a bit of belief in themselves (and that Ayr were there for the beating).

Nicky Cadden - thank you for those #scenes.
Shout out also to Rodgers, who was outstanding, especially in the last quarter.

Those goals were brutal to concede, play Muirhead at right back.

Are you alright? Full backs were the two who were okay, Harvie had one of our best chances of the game which says a lot. Cb's which are abysmal, must add though Bell won virtually every header and made a lot of clearances, Roscoe who's the useless Donkey.

Houston was good for the most part but was poor at the first goal. Not poor enough to call for Muirhead to play at RB.

I think it’s pretty obvious our defence isn’t great and we’re going to concede sloppy goals at times. However we’ve got enough quality in midfield and up front to compensate for that. There’s no excuse for the lack of service to Drinan tonight.

Probably tbh, will no doubt come back to bite somebody's arse come the end of the season

It probably won’t. We’ll both be in the Championship next season. We had about 15 years of finishing above you lot, and you’re now likely to finish above us for the second year in a row. Hardly the clash of titans that will go down in history. You’ve beaten us a few times in recent years, enjoyed it and rammed it down our throats. It was our turn tonight, and it was thoroughly deserved. Dry the eyes and accept your slagging.

Someone said somewhere that in the last 14 games we've not scored more than one goal per game, lack of goals has been a problem for a while now. Can't see us scoring goals for fun again anytime soon. Plus with no Moore at the moment the only plan for up top seems to be to launch it Drinan and hope he can hold it up for the likes of Malley, Moff and Kelly.

Fair enough, we'll just pump you on the BBC in April instead

First part of game we were diff class scored a good goal and then went into melt down. Once Morton scored they went on to dominate the game with good defending and brilliant effort through the team.

Massive difference from the team that we played at Greenock early on Hopkin got them really working for him.

Once again a calamity from Doohan he has no chance of making it at Celtic I’m afraid and costs us regularly during his development. The game was really down to the goalkeepers and there keeper was the difference oh and I nearly forgot Moffat howler.

Dont see anything  in Tiffoney most certainly not better than Mcguffie  and Gillespie is average at best, like the Borough boy although think he’ll be better on Saturday on the faster surface.

I actually thought Kerr has been trying to change our style recently to make our defence stronger at the expense of scoring goals

We've managed it once (Doc double v Alloa) in the 14 (13 if you ignore the Arbroath game) games since beating Partick 4-1.   It's definitely a massive concern as we always look likely to concede, and a lot of our wins this season have come from quick fire goals in short spaces of time - Alloa twice, Arbroath, Morton twice spring to mind.  Games like yesterday you really need to take advantage of a relatively early goal.
