Trogdor
Any news on Bell? I'd feel more confident if he is available.
UpInTheAyr
Can't wait to see a Sutton/Doolan combo up against our 37 year old makeshift CB manager.

Kerr was outstanding on Saturday in that position , good partnership with Roscoe , but should not be needed to play there tomorrow, by all accounts I heard Bell has a good chance of taking part

Guess what - covers not used and the pitch held up really well (well, better than Morton did in the end), so much so that it was remarked upon in BBC's radio match report. Kinda makes you wonder whether professional groundsmen actually know more about their jobs than mouths-on-sticks on Internet message boards do....... Anyway, well done to anyone who turned up to fork the pitch yesterday and hopefully the game will be on.

AUcal
Ayr 7-0 Morton. 5 from Drinan. Will be good to just have a game tbh. Please don't be postponed. Should definitely be looking to take 6 points from the next 2 games before we head into the the 3 games against the city of Dundee. We have shown more grit under Kerr and we will need loads of it for the busy spell of games we have coming up.

callum-ayr
Think we neee to go out all guns blazing tonight. Morton by all accounts really are terrible at the back, and we should be putting pressure on that League 2 esque defence. Drinan hitting form in front of goal and Malley looks like he could be a great addition in midfield. 3-0 Ayr Drinan Kelly and Moff. Doohan Houston Bell Roscoe Harvie Kelly Kerr Malley Moffat Drinan Forrest Subs: Hare-Reid, Ecrepont, Gillespie, Tiffoney, Murphy, McCowan, McKenzie

Without the covers it could well have been completely unplayable.
Hursty
Based on the previous two meetings I'd say it's fairly likely that both teams will score at least once in this. Really hope we can get the first goal .

Of those 15, 13 games had BTTS. 4/5 on BTTS is practically free money!
TheGoon
Completely forgot this was on. BTTS is indeed a banker, as it probably will be for every other game Sean McGinty plays in.

So that’ll be ‘complete vindication’ for my entirely straightforward ‘cover your fucking pitch’ thesis and total humiliation for a stupid old jakey tramp like yourself. You hate to see it happen. Thanks for playing anyway and better luck next time.

Thanks for playing anyway and better luck next time. Let's look at the facts here, shall we? If the pitch - the FULL pitch, not just a small part of it - had been covered then there would be covers along both lengths of the pitch and behind the goals, as is usual when they'd been lifted on the morning of a match or the day before. As the oceanfloor said, only a small part of the pitch had been covered for a period, the narrow length of the pitch in the shadow of the stand. Area covered: >10% of the pitch. Area NOT covered, and not needing to be covered: < 90% of the pitch. So, who's the righterer and who's the wrongerer - suave sophisticated MOI, or the Methadone Mick lookalike? Yup, the facts speak for themselves.
