Ayr v Morton Tuesday night squal

Recommended Posts

No doubt this will get called off as the universe is against Ayr getting a game on or played to the end! Don’t think the weather is to be to bad but it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a freak storm!

Think we are missing a cb unless bell is back so we will probably change things up a bit.

Drinan now scored in the last few games so hopefully that will continue!

Our old benchwarmers warming Morton’s bench or will they come back to haunt us?

Not desperate for anything. I know Ayr will fall apart again this season, but for now simply stating the preferred result.

We’re about 3 months behind schedule on our falling apart and the man that was so synonymous with them is no longer at the club.

Since this game was called off 8 days ago due to a waterlogged pitch it has pretty much rained every day in Ayr, think today has been the first dry day however more rain is forecast tomorrow and Monday, hope the pitch has been coping well with water or has been verti-drained. Either way i'm not expecting an immaculate playing surface which doesn't suit or style, imaging a pretty ugly match. Muirhead suspension carries on to Tuesday and i'd be surprised if Bell will be back, think team could be a couple of permutations, especially with defence:

Doohan

Houston Roscoe Gillespie Harvie

Kelly Kerr Malley

Forrest Drinan Moffat

OR

Doohan

Houston Roscoe Harvie

Gillespie

Forrest Kerr Kelly Malley

Moffat Drinan

Oh shit, looks like this game is in doubt after all.

SOS just been put out to fans to come along at 4 this afternoon to help fork the pitch as it's extremely wet.

With heavy rain overnight and heavy showers tomorrow this looks like it could be in danger.

Must be bad if they're needing a squad of people to fork it.

We should have had the covers down for the past fortnight!

Edit. Vertidrainer hired.

Nothing like leaving it to the last minute scrambling about for it to be Vertidrained, means it'll be an absolute state now with a tractor going over it for the vertidrain

If yer gonna find a squad of folk with pitchforks then Ayrshire is the place to get them. Game on
