2019-2020 Relegation Play Off

Recommended Posts

Yeah you just picked up a pathetic four points all season and are now getting fired into the Highland League with a third successive relegation. That sure showed us!

Sounds like you're still gutted to be one of the teams that didn't pan Brechin in all four league games that year.

He didn't say that to be fair. He asked how they represent their community in a way that clubs currently in the HL/LL don't.

A fair number in the LL don't represent a community.

And none of them are likely to replace Brechin next season.

Morton managed to accumulate £2 million of debt ultimately achieving the heady heights of championship mid-table.

Be careful. Without a bale out, debt like that could result in your club becoming "deadwood"

More than half the last ten years out the bottom
Division?! This is the first time City have been in this league for 20 years.

Any reference to us being deadwood is nonsensical.

It's the first time Brechin have ever been in this league. It's only been around for 6 seasons.

Aye but playing each other 4 times a season is pretty boring as well fek it make it 18 team leagues then 😂😂😂

16 or 18 I don’t care. Just get rid of 10 & 12 team leagues.

Pretty boring is putting it mildly Kel it’s killing the game. And it’s a slow painful death. 💀💀💀

That fair number being 1.

SPFL diddies are rattled beyond belief that their days of freeloading round the league system are coming to an end.

Hey! Caledonian Braves do represent a community... that community being young French footballers looking to gain an education in Scotland

What community do Queens Park represent out of interest?

I think that is now separate. The Caledonian Braves team is almost entirely Scottish players. I think Edusport still exist as the academy for mainly French players, but not directly connected to Caledonian Braves.

The academy players compete under both names as theres Caledonian Braves reserves in the South Of Scotland League. Also an Edusport Academy in the British Uni & Colleges Sports league (BUCS). No idea as to how much crossover there is in regards to players in each squad.
