ski64
Largs Thistle v Glenafton Athletic GAME OFFShould have been cancelled far earlier as conditions are dreadful. If it's too bad for Scottish Cup games then why attempt to play league games.

Even if the game had started it would have likely have been abandoned after the hailstorm at 2:30pm when I thought the windows of the canteen were going to smash they were being battered that hard.
glensmad
Crazy that any game is allowed to be played in such conditions. Waste of time. Lottery.Conditions are fine at Kilbirnie, a bit breezy but absolutely playable. Great credit to the groundsman, pitch is in really good nick.

Absolutely no blame on Largs however there has to be consideration given to fans and players by the league. There was no doubt that the wind would be ridiculous looking at any forecast. Common sense should be applied, that's where it might fall down though [emoji1787][emoji1787]

Decent game in the conditions, Albert did well and a wee thrill taking the lead, all the best for the rest of the season
glensmad
Huge credit to the Kilbirnie groundsman, there was absolutely no doubt about that game going ahead today. The wind was strong, but not too bad, and Royal Albert gave a fine account of themselves, especially in the first half.

Seems a wee bit breezy for the ball to hold on the Astro? Seems like it took a wee bit of time to see sense! For the players, supporters, and the committee getting things ready it must be infuriating that it was left so late. It seems to me that Largs did try however it fell on deaf ears, nothing new there.
