Really strange call. I can understand him going to get warmed up at 0-0 to try and spark the place a bit (which it did) but no way should he be coming on at 2-0 when we’re trying to see the game out. Was his 10 min cameo worse than Sammon's 80 mins ? I dont think you can judge anything on Miller's capability on 10 mins, Raith have just signed a player 2yr older to lead their line. If Miller is anywhere near fit, then it would be foolish not to consider him for games as we plunder along with Sammon and McMillan being unable to prove they should be in the starting 11 every week. Miller was also due on at 1-0, warmed up to come on at 0-0. I think the club may have missed a trick in giving him the number 69 !!!
Bairnardo
I agree with the Miller giving Sammon/McMillan a boot up the arse theory. They sene him sign and then not kick a ball for weeks. Neither worried about their game time IMO.
monthefife
Score-wise, zero complaints from me to be honest. Got exactly what we deserved for sitting back and obviously begging for another goalless draw against the Bairns but it was inevitable that they would score sooner or later. In hindsight it could so easily have been 4 or 5-0. Thought that Young was all over the place and far too experimental with the starting XI last night. The only change I would have made was Morrison in place for Wallace. Dowds on the bench was a really bizarre decision given that he's our most dangerous and only player with some actual physical presence in the final 3rd. Can't see Falkirk's solid back 4 having an easier game for the rest of the season with us lumping the ball at them all night. A poor game overall.

mic_17_uk
Delighted with the result last night. Back 4 were rock solid. Miller and Gomis pretty solid also aside from a couple of stray passes. Connolly have us a spark in the first half. McManus improved as the game went on. LL wasn't on top form, but didn't do much wrong either I thought.Sammon cut a frustrated figure. Shat out of a few things too which was poor. Perhaps his confidence is rock bottom at the moment? Earlier in the season we'd have given equal billing to him and McManus, but there is clear daylight between the two now.If Miller is going to be a genuine option then he needs minutes. I've no problem with him getting those under his belt, particularly if our other two options aren't firing on all cylinders.
Gordon EF
Yeah. No complaints. First half was mostly as the previous two games went. Neither team looking capable of creating too much or enjoying prolonged periods of pressure other than the odd chance. Second half we weren't at the races. Far to many stray passes from our own half meant we were allowing Falkirk to put too much pressure on us and the goals had an air of inevitability about them. Still, we're fighting for the play-offs now and it's more important to make sure we put away the teams in the bottom half of the league as ruthlessly as Montrose seem to to be doing. Starting next week against the draw specialists.
Syd Puddefoot
McCracken summed up the game correctly. First half nowhere near good enough. Could tell from the off 2nd half they were more fired up. Good effort and deserved win. Have to keep momentum going. Longridge gets a start and blows it. Sammon very frustrating but still better option than McMillan for me. Lee Miller cameo tells you where we are at as a club but if it gets us over the line well so be it.
Shabba
It’s amazing how others see the game. I thought Longridge was really poor last night, he looked disinterested and just hid. Sammon didn’t have a good game but at least kept showing for the ball and the fans got on his back. I don’t think either are world beaters but there’s no point giving Sammon abuse at the game, it’s not going to make him play any better. On their day they can both win us a game

I still think we need a striker in if we are to get top spot, altho Miller did look to be a hell of a lot mobile than Sammon albeit hard to judge with his cameo role where he is at. He for sure got the crowd going with just warming up, a good striker could be enough to get top spot, all season our front two just havent clicked. Is there another player(s) who have made 3 returns to the club now outside obviously now Miller and Crunchie ? Can we include Big Craw (twice as a player and once as General Manager) and Housty (twice as a player and once as First Team Manager) ? Or am I not playing this game right ??

McShane also stood up in the same game too but similar to Longridge it did take a while to do so. Id have Longridge as a sub for now, great impact player and I also seen why he isnt being considered for up top last night. He has great skill within his feet but was petrified to use any of it last night, a very frustrating player

ShaggerG
Just watched the highlights and I reckon the ball was over the line when it came off the defender 2nd half. Not in the photo that was posted earlier though, the footage shows that it was on the way back out at that point.
