rb123!
What happened with the fans? Tbh the way some of our loony supporters go on i'm surprised Arbroath didn't have the heads up to do segregation
ToatieScone
We do have segregation but it only gets used for teams that bring bigger crowds. Surely it's better to be able to walk right around the ground and stand where you want? Rather than be stuck in the bottom tier of your main stand for the full game Not defending our arsehole fans but what sort of diddies don’t have segregation at this level in the first place?
1320Lichtie
As much as I would love it if DC could've just said call it aff ref were no winning that's obviously not what's happened. Ref blew up for half time way before he should've I think it was clearly the plan Vast majority of Ayr fans seemed good fun from the stand. Plenty of singing etcJust few that fancied themselves as hard men obviously
Smokie joe 🐟🇱🇻
Game should never of started. Glad it got called off as we were never winning that. That will be segregation now for every game I would imagine.. brilliant[emoji854]
Mexico
Was starting it obvious and correct? What changed between 3.00 and 3.45?Starting it was obviously farcical, but then again I didn’t say anything to contrary so I’m not sure why you’re questioning me?

Hammerafc
If the Ayr fans just stood behind the goal there kicking towards there wouldn't be a problem. They would have been warmer too
Mexico
Obviously, from an Arbroath perspective. From all perspectives, I mean, we scored a completely fluke corner and your suggesting it’s unfair on Ayr? The whole game was farcical, given Ayr’s record at Gayfield I wouldn’t have thought it would be a bad thing to replay.
HMIP
Arbroath are a disgrace. They knew or must have known there was a major doubt over this game. Should have got an inspection this morning instead of letting fans travel from the west coast when the conditions are patently unplayable. Some sympathy for the referee. He’s showed up at 1.30 and knew the conditions were a joke but obviously figured it was worth a go given fans had already travelled.
soapy
Given a comp ticket on the way in 'just in case its abandoned before half time ' wind was no stronger at half time just as Ayr would have benefited, load of pish!
AyrExile
Tough place to visit is Arbroath. If you’re lucky enough to survive the wind and still in the hunt then the ref will sort the rest out

Hammerafc
I don't think the game should have made half time as was farcical but if your going to happily play 45 minutes just play 90. The conditions wouldn't have been any different in the second half. I wouldn't have been happy if I was Mark Kerr or an Ayr fan.

HMIP
Just now, invergowrie arab said: Arbroath, off their own back, should have organised an inspection, for wind, 5 hours before the game? Correct. This isn’t complicated - the conditions were unplayable this morning with no improvement in the forecast expected. Arbroath should have asked for an inspection this morning. If you look back, there’s been discussion all week about the chances of this game going ahead. We had some knuckleheads on both sides who dismissed the forecast, but really, this farce was totally predictable.
