Killie are starting to gel again under Dyer, and are a tough prospect, esp at Rugby Park.

They have a pretty decent record against us recently, so while I would love 3 points - perhaps the most we can hope for today is 1?

Both sets of fans to hold hands round a burning Jim Traynor effigy at half time.

Never in doubt really.

Killie barely threw a cross in the entire match and deffo shouldnt have had a penalty..............................

Pummelled................

Swinging in a bunch of crosses apparently equals pummelled. Good defensive performance from us second half and we had a couple of great opportunities to get them on the break but poor decision making from Boyle cost us.

Greg Docherty will be the closest thing we can get to John McGinn in the middle of the park. Energy, aggression and the odd screamer of a goal. No chance we keep him permanently.

Unlucky not to take something from that. We just have no options off the bench. Very thin squad which is worrying because we can’t really change a game.

Hibs actions in the jan transfer window won them that game.

if we play like that every game til end of season we will be close to top 6!

Shouldve had a pen at the end for the rugby tackle on DDF and I thought McNulty looked narrowly offside for his flick on for 2nd goal. But we also got a bit of a jammy deflection for Burke’s bullet header.

Clear improvements over the last 4 games and any fan would’ve taken 9/12 points.

Big game is on Wednesday now

That was a stressful Sunday evening. Could've gone either way, but Alex Dyer's Killie haven't mastered the finer arts of simulation and getting on the right side of Scottish match officials so it went our way and not theirs. I wouldn't have complained if Killie had taken a result from that, but I'm happy they didn't.

That is a fabulous result, all things considered.  The plastic pitch and storm conditions could easily have made this an awfully tricky game for us today against an in-form side, but we went about that professionally.  There can be no question now that Jack Ross has turned our season around - he has been a great appointment and very much looking forward to our future under him.  Huge 3 points.

Finally to any Jambos looking in...17 points now you LOSERS.

And now only 5 points off Aberdeen in 3rd, that's a remarkable turn around.

Thought we were unlucky to lose that, albeit we struggled to really test Marciano until that save at the end. Thought he had a good game actually in very difficult conditions, unlike the goalkeeper at the other end.

Should have had a penalty for the foul on Del Fabro at the end but you win some you lose some. As others have said we don't have the depth to really change a game so while we had all the pressure in the second half it never really looked like Hibs were on the ropes.

Absolutely refuse to believe Chris Burke is 36, thought he was outstanding today.
