We've started the year in good form but performances have been a little disappointing in the past two home games. I think we can get a win but we'll have to play a lot better than that muck on Saturday all over the park to get the job done.

Word salad !

Weather forecast looks grim.  Hope it gets postponed if accurate.  An important game and don’t want it degenerating into a lottery.

On the positive side, if it does go ahead, the world will get another chance to hear VT drone on about how professional footballers should be able to cope with all sorts of inclement weather. All based on his personal experience gained from years of playing solo Subuteo in the shower.

Shaping up to be worse conditions than last Saturday. Possible postponement when we've already got about five games in two weeks starting at the end of the month

The latest forecasts have the wind to be about 5mph less than last week but the rain to be heavy from 10 am onward.

I suppose it all depends on whether or not the rain arrives on Saturday morning and if it's torrential then there's a good chance of a waterlogged pitch, however as we know Somerset drains very well and the wind shouldn't be an issue so still looks likely that it will go ahead.

As opposed of course to your star turn for Real Madrid in their 7-3 scudding of Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1960 European Cup Final, you utter fantasist.

Well no way would they ask you to draft Puskas’ letter of apology, given that B in English and your appalling syntax.

If rain comes as forecasted game certainly in doubt , wind will not be the issue , pitch very soft now and torrential rain likely , there will be an inspection at 11.30am

Any idea when the rescheduled game will be played if it’s off tomorrow?

There was talk today if both teams agree It could be as soon as Tuesday as that is the first available  date for rescheduled games

Is the drainage at Somerset going down hill or something, never known to be postponed for flooding but one game last season and looks like another off this season to a waterlogged pitch

Drainage is fine , pitch is playable at moment , not many pitches will be able to hold the amount of rain forecasted to fall tomorrow ( hope it wrong ) but the rain we had at 10.30 today which was torrential is forecasted to fall from 9am to 5pm tomorrow, can’t drain that quick if water continues to fall on it
