I think the SFA should be instructing their referees all over Scotland to have a long think about overhead conditions before starting games tomorrow. It is blowing a gale just now and more of the same is forecast for this time tomorrow - surely common sense must prevail as it is no fun for players or spectators watching a team failing to get out of their own half or goal kicks being blown over the goalkeepers head.

That requires the powers in Scottish football to use common sense.

Not something they display often.

It was the ginger boys mate that was more of a problem at our last visit, standing right in front of us being a knob for no reason. I was warned that any complaint would fall on deaf ears but was disappointed after contacting the safety officer & chairman at Forfar and getting replies saying it would be looked into that as forecast by Forfar supporters it died a death without being resolved.

As with all other complaints

I love that the first guy commenting calls them out on it after they'd just said the wind was causing havoc.

Tuesday night does not appeal

The wind can cause havoc in terms of trying to play football/making long passes accurate without being dangerous in any way.

ETA: obviously not being there I'm just talking in theory.

Absolute shite. Theres been games played in windier conditions this season.
It was no worse 35 minutes in than it was at the start.

That’s really frustrating to hear.

Fleming seemed to be the only person complaining about the weather to the ref, yet there looks like he had made no attempt to dig a hole to keep the ball on the spot, the spot was immaculate when we walked past after it was called off.
