1320Lichtie
He should never have been allowed to have the chance seeing as he was offside.Defo wasn't offside on that chance when it ricocheted through to him.

Beg to differ on that when the ball was initially crossed I thought he was off.

RossDee01
Guys enjoying playing football again it's great to see Some shift he put in [emoji4] Brilliant. This could be the start from him and think it’s the best move for him. Don’t think he would have progressed as much of he came to us.
lichtie23
It wasn’t tho was it? He had about 3 touches in the 2nd half. Praise our rock solid defence and the midfield that ran all day

1320Lichtie
[emoji23][emoji23] For f**k sake. Running about upfront chasing lost causes all day and getting a winning goal at Tannadice for us is a great shift in anyone's books. Of course the whole team were outstanding and done the same but the club posted a cracking photo of a young lad who's had a tough year celebrating scoring a winning goal for Arbroath against his boyhood clubs rivals. I was only sharing it. Have a day off.

Leicesterlichtie
Absolute statement of intent from our boy's today. Should of spanked the tangerines last time at Tannadice. For all his fallibles , DC does get things spot on.
Poet of the Macabre
Saw Arbroath at Falkirk and they were absolutely dire and deservedly lost. Absolutely baffling they could then go and win at Tannadice.

Absolutely baffling they could then go and win at Tannadice.Maybe you're the reason? Both games against Dunfermline and Falkirk, Dundee away and Morton away and home we've been absolutely reeking. Today we scored a goal then put on a defensive performance Jose Mourinhos Inter Milan team would've been happy with.

In fairness, both sides were as bad as each other in the first half but as soon as McManus scored, it was never going to be anything other than a home win. Might have been a different game if you'd scored first.
Smokie joe 🐟🇱🇻
As others have said, Arbroath deserved that today. United offered very little. The blame for our performance lies with Neilson. Asghar isn't the type of person to act in the manner some have mentioned.Asghar was a right w****r last game at Tannadice waving his wallet and the notes inside to arbroath fans so he can get it right up him after that win today

Apparently I was embarrassing myself by saying we would get justice today after the last 2 games and Wighton would score the winner as he loves a goal against United Didn’t even have the decency to apologize Tinpot fan
Ray Patterson
That result had been coming for weeks. Connolly and Reynolds are not a good enough partnership. Need Watson back in the side. Not good enough in the final third, again. Appere and Mcmullan being missing really hindered us. The decision to let Cammy Smith and Sam Stanton leave is starting to look very foolish now. Two weeks off is very much needed now, reset and then start our final run-in toward the title, win the next 4 and it's sealed. Fair play to Arbroath, probably your biggest league win for years and well deserved, would love to you come up via the play-offs (however unlikely that is). Of course it had to be Wighton.
