Anyone partial to a cocktail?

I love an Old Fashioned when made well.  Some places get it spot on, but others not so.  I have tried but failed to make it at home- can’t fail but make it too watery.

Would like to try more but frankly can’t be arsed waiting 5 minutes nor want to pay £8 a drink.

I used to enjoy a pitcher of vodka, tequila and Red Bull.

Old fashioned is a great shout though.

A rusty nail is quick and easy (whisky, Drambuie) ice and maybe some slices of orange too?

Dark rum and Crabbies ginger wine is good on a chilly day too.

I had a Bellini in Vancouver that came with jelly sweety worms dangling over the side.  It was the single best drink I've ever had.

I also had a "Vesper" in the cocktail bar in Fonab Castle at Pitlochry.  They make a vodka martini to the same recipe that James Bond gives the barman in Casino Royale.  I was half canned after one.  I'm amazed James Bond can ever get it up for the Bond girls, to be honest with you.

Old fashioned or a whisky sour for me. Tiger lily in Edinburgh do decent cocktails to be fair.
I did get a rum cocktail with a couple of whole coffee beans in it once in Spain and was very nice, thought the whole beans would be a gimmick as didn't think you would be able to taste them but you did. Which reminds me a decent mojito on holiday is also good.

Got a bottle from Santa, and it's nearly done already

Negronis, French Martinis, cosmos, mojito, are all class.

Manhattan's are utterly revolting.

Long Island Ice Tea is bang for buck.

ETA, I have had the mojito and the daiquiri in the places that invented them. La Bodeguita Del Medio and La Floridita respectively. The mojito was awful, the Daiquiri was incredible and furthermore, if I die without seeing what La Floridita is like at night in full swing, it will feature on my list of regrets.

Old Fashioned, mango caipirinha and cosmo do it for me. When 7 Saints was open in Killie I enjoyed one of theirs that was red, but I can't remember the name of it or what was in it since I always ordered it near the end of the night.
