I’m not sick of graphs. If anything we need more graphs.

One of the few high points of this whole malarky is the increase in graphs.  If only they weren't charting hundreds of people dying though.

I was always a keen statistician growing up. Another great career opportunity that passed me by.

My take from that is that it takes approx 1 month from contracting the disease to being reported dead.

Lockdown started on March 23.

So we will probably see an increase in deaths in England until approx St George's day. (just to pluck a time out of the air)

In Scotland it will of course be St Andrew's day.

UK has 6.6 Intensive Care beds for 100,000 of population according to a graph yesterday

Germany looked to have something like 30 IC beds for every 100,000.

Germany has 1,584 dead for 100,123 tested positive.

UK has 4,934 dead for 4,7806 tested positive.

Their health service looks to be better than ours.

Fair enough.

It's the rate of increase/derivative of our graph that's getting steeper.  If things continue with them on a straight line and us on a steepening curve, we'll overtake their absolute numbers at some point.  we doubled in 5 days and they only went up by 40% (of a bigger baseline).

I am glad you never went further and drew the graph out before I realised I had fucked it and came with my apology [emoji23]

7 day average deaths since countries went into lockdown.

UK is stuck on Spain virtually.

Don't understand that graph. France went into lockdown a week before UK.  3 weeks ago.

Are the colours wrong?
