I see that we're back to the 60,000 tests per day nonsense already. Nearly doubled in the space of a few days of scaremongering.

It's vitally important that people who are fit and well with no symptoms test everyday.

Utter drivel that keeps the panto running.

Test positivity remaining at a decent level and, of course, the only metric that should matter (hospital numbers) increasing by three.

Obviously that will rise as a result of the increased number of people being tested. But the fact those numbers are half the levels they were last year doesn't point to hospitals having to close their doors to new patients imminently.

I could be wrong. But I think these South African medics knew what they were talking about...

Want to guess which number the BBC reports - the "case numbers" or test positivity?

They've lied all the way through according to the agenda.

The dreadful tier system they ignored when it suited.

The science they ignored when it suited.

The hospital numbers they ignored when it suited.

Etc etc etc etc.

I always think Rule of 6 sounds like one of those 70's dance troops like Pans People.

Similarly The Omicron Variant has very strong The Andromeda Strain vibes.

Which is fun as one of the two surviving townspeople was only still alive as he was an alcoholic.

On the plus side, that's 54k boosters yesterday, an increase of 9k over the previous day.

Can't wait to stand in a queue outside a supermarket in the pishing wet, icy January rain in an attempt to lessen my chances of catching a bad cold...

I entered a super market behind an old couple. When at the first shelve oldies stopped . I walked past them on the right and the auld guy says, see some folk won't follow the rules. I said to him do you expect me to follow behind you while you get a trolley full and I'm in for a carton of milk. YES was the answer. He really took offence at me bursting out laughing.
