Test positivity remaining at a decent level and, of course, the only metric that should matter (hospital numbers) increasing by three.

Obviously that will rise as a result of the increased number of people being tested. But the fact those numbers are half the levels they were last year doesn't point to hospitals having to close their doors to new patients imminently.

I could be wrong. But I think these South African medics knew what they were talking about...

No plans for more restrictions in England according to Sky News.

Looks likely that it'll be an update on boosters. Yesterday was a record day for boosters in England (548k) so may have something to do with that.
