The 'bed wetters' certainly aren't the ones questioning the seemingly indefinite wearing of face masks just to go about typical daily activities, champ. All for a virus that essentially every single human on the planet is going to be exposed to, multiple times.

To me this is part of the problem as well. While I welcome anyone from across the political spectrum in supporting a return to normal, pre-pandemic life, the fact that people from parties like the SNP and Labour etc don't have the baws to do anything but toe the party line leaves largely centre-right populists fighting this. Political persuasion shouldn't matter here.

really ? multiple times? we're almost 2 years into it and i know no one on a personal basis who's been infected.

He's a right wing, christian nutcase with a history of homophobic remarks. While not an outright anti-vaxer, he's on record as appearing with anti- vaccine groups. 

He's also on record as stating...incorrectly....that the government were using false statistics to justify restrictions. He was asked to apologise for spreading misinformation by Priti Patel of all people, so that tells you all you need to know about this weed of a man. 

No surprise at all though that he's a hero of yours.

If it's already widespread in Scotland there's obviously no point, if there are only a few cases, there might be.

Theres folk coming in from all over the world every day..people traveling in from England who have probably no idea COP is happening. If it does turn out to be seriously nasty, it would flatten the curve, give time to develop a modified booster, help the NHS and save lives. Have you not being paying attention? Anyway, I'm hopeful it will turn out to be massively infectious and harmless and it will all be over by Christmas.
