In fairness to her with 18K on Instagram where the real influencing happens she’s probably getting about £200 to £300 a post for sponsored / promoted content…

A random lassie from Kirkcaldy opening a bag from ASOS and saying how much she likes the free haul for £300 or more is all the proof needed that the world is fucked.

Just wait to you see my only fans account.

That said, fair play to the lassie, someone wants to pay her money for essentially advertising then more power to her.

Any Raith fans know Poppy Canny?

Poppy Canny sounds like what I imagine Geordies call an ice lolly.

There's a woman from kirkcaldy called Louise canny, has a gift shop near the High Street.  Could be her daughter.

I was rather hoping there might be a Fanny Canny too.

She has over 18k on Instagram, which is the favoured platform for that lot. No idea if that's good or not.

At either rate, she'll be needing a proper job soon with her vaccine refusal seeing her little holiday junkets gubbed.

I wouldn't bet on it.

We can sneer at these kids all we like but an awful lot of them are not having to put in a 9-5 for 45 years. Some of them are making an absolute mint from social media using just a mobile phone and a bit of creativity and knowledge regarding what other young people want to watch and buy.

Fair play to them.

BTW, there's no such thing as a "proper job". Not one of us is doing anything so special that we should be looking down on what other people do to pay their bills. Just my thoughts.

To be fair, it wasn't exactly a serious post, just a snarky response to her entitled whining.

I know how much some of them make, as much as most of it totally bemuses me. At any rate, a quick google shows that she does indeed have a "proper job" and that @philpy guess was correct.

That's me fully AZ'd oot me tits as of this morning. Hopefully the unpleasant experience with side effects after the first dose is not repeated. Vax drop-in centre was dead, they almost seemed surprised to see someone rock up.

On a positive note, St Andrews looked like a normal busy summer day and thankfully not a mask to be seen down by the beach. Made me think of the preposterous scenes in lockdown 1.0, when we saw lone fishermen standing by the surf not within a kilometre of the nearest soul, being arrested by half a dozen policemen.

I got my AZ invincibility potion part two the other day.  Like the first time, absolutely no side effects at all.  Deeply dissatisfied.    Drop in centre was dead as a doorpost.

I think I have about 15 bottles of wine in my house and I am beginning to question whether it is enough to survive the next 8.5 days in lockdown.

Nah f**k that. Firstly, at some point, the bubble will burst and these cretins will be fucked.

I guess I am not really having a go at these people. More the people that follow them and allow such a thing as “influencers”

One day our expert modellers will catch on to the fact that cases cannot ever continue to increase indefinitely.

Saw someone on Twitter saying it was due to fewer tests in schools etc.

Looked up the gov.uk dashboard and it was 1million tests, the same as the average for most of July...

Problem is they actually now want 100k a day to quickly ravage through the kids and unders 30s.
That is programmed into their modelling.
If cases drop no herd immunity.
Therefore watch out for a change of.mind by the.non political (My arse) JCVI. To vax all kids.

Exponential decrease IMO.

And yes, there will be fewer tests carried out with the schools being off. But, equally, less opportunity for the infection factories to do their thing.

Positivity is falling too so that's another straw clutch in the bin for the usual suspects. Remember how quickly cases in India plummeted? And while cases may eventually rise again with the latest loosening, mainly down south, will it realistically make *that* much of a difference? People have been moving ahead of the Government in terms of movement and contacts for a long time now, not least with all the gatherings and socialising during the Euros. About 90% of the population have at least some level of protection, so it simply will run out of steam at some point.

Which P&Ber is most likely to wear this t-shirt, modelled by an attendee at today’s rally?

Should be immediately arrested, given a vasectomy.

What a tosser.
