Has he produced some graphs?  What's his views on ask wearing?

We need to know...

He's planning to wear a mask at the trophy presentation if he wins. 😷

Alternatively I'm an idiot who has posted in the wrong thread 😂

Jeez I’ve seen some awful comebacks on this thread and indeed I’ve likely been responsible for some but this one is absolutely desperate stuff.

Funny, was speaking to an old boy at work today and he's said the same as you. He was at the Ormond end of the East and reckoned everyone around him wore masks the whole match.

I was up the back at the scoreboard end and nobody in my sight wore one.

I think looking back at my pictures, those by Greame Hart and Chris Logan and those from SNS it did all depend where you were sitting

Let’s hope this is the peak of hospitalisation & death, as cases certainly apply to be on the way down
Is there any breakdown of age groups for the deaths in last few days which seems quite high after a few weeks of quite low numbers considering the vast majority of older people will be fully vaccinated?

Wow thats pathetic.

Definitely now at the point where people need to be dragged kicking and screaming for their first doses tbh and if the threat of no holidays and vaccine passports are required then so be it IMO.

The deaths figure is pretty high though, hopefully it drops down again in quick time but again I guess it’s probably still under 25% of what you would have had after a similar caseload back in January.

8 75+ (4 of which over 85)

Daily Cases Update:   Day 9 of dropping cases. Down an excellent 4.37% to 319.8 which was bang on my estimate.  Infectivity also down to 9.6%

Predict tomorrow a fall of another 4.5% tomorrow, 1.75% Saturday & 4.0% Sunday.  This should take us down to around 288 cases per 100K.

Anyone wanting a holiday should head to Ayrshire on figures alone.

Cases announced today of only 2,086 with huge amounts tested and only 6.6% positivity which is excellent news.  The deaths must be coming towards there peak in the next few days.

So I got England surging past Scotland correct. And the Balearics to Amber correct. Cases updated in Europe for the top 4 excluding UK. These rises are over 1 day.

Total Cases Scotland 7 days from 6th July to 12th July  were  18,269 to 17472 down 4.37%.  Positivity was 9.8%  now 9.6%.   Cases per 100k were  334.3 now 319.8

Home Nations Daily update  :  UK Average 319.5 to 329.9 up 3.26%, England 328.9 to 341.5 up 3.83%, Wales 147.0 to 154.1 up 4.83%, Northern Ireland  181.2 to 197.7 up 9.11%

New temporary source for Mainland Europe

Latest European figures today.   Netherlands 302.0 to 341.5 (Up 411% in 7 days), Spain 287.5 to 306.8 , Portugal 193.4 to 202.0, Greece 150.8 to 161.6

Scotland peaks in Wave 3 at 425.1 for 27th June to 3rd July, (UK was 229.9) . Cases that day were 23,222 and positivity 10.8%

Scotland previously peaked in wave 2 at 301.9 for figures 29th Dec to 4th Jan, (UK was 642.1)    Cases that day were 16,496 and test positivity rate was 11.9%

There'll also be several thousand people unable to get their vaccination because of a recent Covid case. That won't help either.

There does however have to be a ldate which we draw a line in the sand and say, you've had your chance and that's the end of it - restrictions all gone.

I don't see how that will be a big issue. Natural immunity is a thing.

Looks like a few big companies not agreeing with Johnson's 'Freedom, But Be Cautious Now Day' with now Tesco and John Lewis joining Waterstones and Sainsburys in asking customers to wear masks inside their shops after the 19th.

Bosses at these companies thinking the UKG  is being reckless?

This is just "woke pish" aimed at keeping their knickerwetting customers happy.

There was data suggesting folk who have recovered from it will have better protection than those who hadn't caught it and have had their first vaccine.

Or perhaps it's to stop a walk out of their staff who want, according to unions, to continue mask wearing.
