Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Recommended Posts

I think its a no brainer for someone with a reduced immune system to get that booster especially now. Double tap and the confidence you and your loved ones know you are protected.
The second dose is not a booster - they're being organised for later in the year.

You need two doses to be fully vaccinated, and as has been pointed out, the delta variant has shown that to be pretty important (probably much more so than previously).

Trying to report a negative LFT on the website and every time you get to the last page where you declare the result, when I click submit it reports an error. They don't help themselves when it comes to the conspiracy theorists.

Check the multitude of stats on protection after first v second jags.

I'd be loathe to trust your interpretation of stats given your history of reading data and pulling from it 11.4m people dead in Scotland 4 weeks after the pandemic began...

Fair enough.  What’s your interpretation of stats on the protection of first versus both inoculations?

How did people survive the first wave when there were no vaccines at all? Lockdowns, social distancing and the rest of it.

Folk seem to forget at the height of the "first wave" in March/Apr/May 2020 nobody outwith the weirdos were wearing masks. Seems that now everyone who was vulnerable or old and has been double vaccinated that isnt enough. We must have a never ending cycle of boosters, mask wearing, social distancing, one way systems, signing in wherever you go for "fun". The last 15 months have shown there is a bunch of fcking oddballs out there

Well given you won't pull the figures you're reading off of following a request to do so and back yourself up, I won't be answering you.

This will be the next thing the SG blame for the delaying of lifting restrictions. They know folk have saw through the VaRiEnTs! pish and the children in hospital lies. Now blame a shortage despite the fact that almost ever region currently has a vaccine drop in centre. They're so fcking transparent

Think the shortage is only for the rest of this month and isn't expected to have any impact on the rollout.
