I saw this on twitter earlier. Next spring? Get to fck. Someone should be asking why restrictions weren’t binned once the vulnerable and elderly were double dosed. Why exactly we need to wait another 9 months when vaccines are already being given to the 20/30 groups. I seriously don’t know the end game in all of this. Continually moving the goalposts, telling us vaccines were the route to freedom yet doubling down on that. Scunnering to think if it is “next spring” that will be 2 years of this shit

That's a Daily Mail article and ANYTHING penned by Michael Blackley should be treated as nonsensical political scaremongering.

In fact if you read the article you will notice that the final paragraph states the exact opposite to the title and the opening paragraph which is pretty standard fare for the Daily Fail.

Good to see the Highlands dropping down the table again after the shitehole that's in Argyll or some other place, Fort William, sent us shooting up, if you pardon the pun.

3 nts in the Leeming house Ullswater B&B in June was £1,179.00

3 nts in the Royal hotel Oban B&B in June was £462.00

They can keep it !!!!

AZ   we are manufacturing it here in Thailand, big roll was to start last Monday, but was delayed.  Yesterday was our first big vax day,  hope it keeps up.

We have been using the Chinese Sinovac up until now and private companies using the Sinopharm.

Up until yesterday people with the first vaccince dose was only at 2.2 million

This cruise being banned from docking is crazy. I’m driving to Liverpool tomorrow with work and flying to Heathrow next week. All totally legal yet a few bus loads of pensioners can’t go for a drive to Loch Lomond despite being mainly vaccinated and coming from a presumably sterile ship.

We were at Troon a week past Sunday and I’ll also bet the density of folk at the beach and around the ice cream shops etc was far higher than this Fanzone that’s causing folk to lose their minds.

I said at Christmas that I wish I could live remotely on a desert island for a year and return once all this shit had settled down, and as the year progresses, I’m even more wishing I could disappear as these regulations and reactions to events are wrecking many folks’ heads tbh.

Whilst you feel sorry for the business lost last year, some of these hotels are clearly ripping folk off on the basis they think everyone is desperate fo4 their staycation this summer. I was in the Royal Hotel, Oban 3 weeks ago and it was £75 for room and (shit) breakfast. Fast forward a month and they’re looking at £462 for 3 nights!

We are off to Tobermory next weekend, rearranged from a week ago and the room rate at the Western Isles Hotel was £210 a night and they tried to increase it to £270 for B&B in their 3 star hotel. They’ve kept my old rate after I queried if I had booked a room in the Bahamas rather than Balamory! No doubt, I’ll be rewarded with a room facing the dustbins since I’m not paying the going rate.

We’d booked a hotel in Glasgow for February. From memory £180 for 2 nights. It got cancelled because of the winter lockdown.

When we went to get a price to go last month they were wanting £400.00.
