Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Recommended Posts

Went for my morning run earlier this morning (And thereby already using my quota). Granted it's always quiet at that time, but it was the same bodies and cars around as always. Don't get the impression anything has really changed - owing to those rather wishy washy statements last night. Needing the army on the streets in my opinion.

Me too, but on boats. Unless they’re sinking or have a boiling of prawns for me, I’m staying put.

I’m guessing ‘exercising outside once a day’ and treating yourself to a leisurely 4 hour stroll aren’t meant to equate.

Never fkn leisurely when I do it. I cover twice as much distance as I should.

Can I just say this thread was golden last night. The Madonna stuff was hilarious - in the midst of a worldwide pandemic and lockdowns the chat on P&B was whether La Isla Bonita was a better song than Like a Prayer - brilliant! Only topped when some tit got upset and demanded we stop 😄

Oh well, nothing much changed since yesterday morning although train is a little quieter but also filthy. Seats full of crumbs and tables with rubbish on them so obviously no cleaning or disinfecting taking place.

Despite our latest warnings from our esteemed leaders I received a text from my work late last night confirming we were all critical staff and had to report today as normal. Who'd ever have believed that spending 7 hours on pie and bovril would be deemed a "critical" role ??

Oh well, desperate times indeed...

Missed this but it would have to be la Isla bonita for me. Definitely her best stuff around that era.

Go into work, and get told we're staying open, as advice they were given is that we're classed as essential, being the only repair garage in the village.

MOT stations open aswell in Perth, if anyone was worried about that. Will remain open until they're forced to shut.
