Michael W
Yeah, away fans can largely forget it at the Euros. Always the possibility of an annoying border closure or quarantine measure to contend with as well.
Billy Jean King
Amber is home isolation for us now as well. it’s going to be difficult for foreign fans to attend the euros in the UK unless the green list is massively expanded. ETA https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-international-travel-quarantine/pages/red-amber-and-green-list-countries/Going to be nowhere near 12k at these games then unless there is some way to redistribute them.Czech v Croatia will be 5k or thereabouts -

Elixir
Suspect stories like this will be a common feature of the public inquiry. Quote Posted at 17:16 Families blame NHS over hospital-acquired Covid deaths Copyright: FAMILY HANDOUT David Laws contracted the virus and died in JanuaryImage caption: David Laws contracted the virus and died in January Three families whose loved ones died after contracting Covid-19 in hospital say mistakes were made by NHS trusts. It follows a BBC investigation which found that one third of patients who died with Covid-19 at one hospital are likely to have contracted it on the wards. David Laws, David Smith and Debbie Burford all died of coronavirus. Carol Bursey, Mr Laws' wife, says staff "let him down massively", despite the "extreme conditions" they were in. Retired crime prevention officer David Smith was taken to Eastbourne District General in November after a heart attack. He died of Covid-19 on Christmas day. His wife Christine Smith said the family were all "shattered, devastated". Debbie Burford died from Covid related pneumonia in January. Her sister-in-law Oona Vatcher says the hospital failed to adequately isolate Covid positive patients and "mistakes were definitely made". Inanimate Carbon Rod
The massive rises are obviously as a result of the surge testing, they’ve launched it in Renfrewshire and obviously cases have gone up. Ive no interest in spending my time off getting a swab fired up my nose. Obviously there will be a massive amount of these cases asymptomatic, doesnt really solve any problems.

Michael W
Hopefully that's Glasgow starting to plateau now. Bolton has started decreasing marginally, although Blackburn and Bedford still seem to be flying up.

Brought in travel restrictions for specific areas, but didn't actually publicise it, stuck it on a website and that's it. Wtf. Some nhs worker in a hospital in (I think it was) Bolton wasn't even aware they were under new restrictions.

One patient on the ward might have Covid, none of them wear a mask or are really tested, therefore all the others on the ward get it too. I think that was fairly prevalent throughout the pandemic.
